About the team and the role:

eBay Live is transforming how people discover, engage with and buy on eBay by combining the energy of live entertainment with the scale and trust of one of the world’s most established marketplaces. Through real-time video, sellers can bring products to life, answer buyer questions, showcase quality and authenticity, build community and drive purchase decisions in the moment.

This is a high-growth area within eBay, operating with the pace and creativity of a startup while building on eBay’s global marketplace, trusted buyer and seller relationships, and deep category expertise. eBay Live creates new ways for sellers to develop their brands, build loyal audiences and grow through compelling live programming.

As an Account Manager on the eBay Live team, you will own a portfolio of strategic enterprise sellers after they launch on the platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping sellers translate the live commerce format into repeatable growth through strong business planning, performance analysis, programming optimization and disciplined execution. You will partner closely with sellers and internal cross-functional teams to improve seller outcomes, unlock growth opportunities and contribute to the continued scaling of eBay Live.

What you will accomplish:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise sellers on eBay Live, driving improvements in GMV, audience growth, programming quality, seller engagement and other key performance indicators.

  • Build strong consultative relationships with sellers through proactive outreach, regular business reviews and strategic consultations that help them improve execution and accelerate growth.

  • Develop and manage joint business plans with measurable goals, clear priorities and disciplined follow-through across seller performance, programming, adoption and long-term growth opportunities.

  • Use seller performance data, category context and Live commerce insights to identify trends, risks, intervention points and growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Advise sellers on eBay Live best practices, including programming strategy, show format, scheduling, assortment, live selling techniques and ways to deepen buyer engagement.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Business Development, Product, Policy, Marketing and Operations to resolve seller blockers, represent seller feedback and improve the seller experience.

  • Navigate moderately complex seller issues, platform changes and operational escalations with sound judgment, clear communication and strong ownership.

  • Develop seller education, best-practice sharing and scalable initiatives that improve seller readiness, execution quality and performance across the broader eBay Live seller base.

What you will bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise account management, customer success or a related consultative seller-facing role, with 1-2 years of live shopping experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage strategic customer or seller relationships, build trust with senior stakeholders, and coach partners toward stronger execution and measurable business outcomes.

  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand seller business models, category dynamics, commercial priorities and the platform levers that influence growth.

  • Analytical strength and comfort working with performance data to identify trends, diagnose issues, prioritize opportunities and develop clear, data-backed recommendations.

  • Experience building account plans, joint business plans or growth strategies with defined goals, owners, timelines and follow-through.

  • Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to turn data and business context into compelling written and verbal recommendations for sellers and internal partners.

  • Strong collaboration and influence skills, with the ability to work across teams, manage tradeoffs and move initiatives forward without direct authority.

  • Operating rigor, ownership and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, track commitments and drive outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort using CRM, analytics or performance reporting tools to manage account work and inform seller strategy.
