More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

Wise Platform powers cross-border payments for banks, enterprise corporations, and global tech platforms. The Payouts team specifically serves high-volume enterprise clients—such as creator economy platforms, content licensing firms, and gig-economy businesses—that rely on Wise’s API infrastructure to send funds globally at scale.

As one of the first three hires on this newly formed team, you will own the entire post-sale lifecycle for North American enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for driving partner onboarding, ensuring smooth API integrations, maintaining account health, and proactively driving net revenue expansion through corridor, currency, and volume growth. In addition to client-facing duties, you will build the foundational account management playbook, escalation paths, and partner health frameworks for this business line.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partner Onboarding & Go-Live (30%)

  • Partner with Pre-Sales and Implementation teams to project-manage newly signed enterprise accounts from contract execution to first successful payout run.

  • Ensure flawless technical go-lives to rapidly transition signed contract value into active processing volume.

2. Account Expansion & Revenue Growth (30%)

  • Own net revenue retention and expansion targets across your portfolio, driving adoption of new payment corridors, currencies, payout flows, and additional business units.

  • Translate pre-sale business cases into post-sale operational reality, actively growing volume month-over-month.

3. Technical Relationship Management & Portfolio Health (20%)

  • Serve as the primary, hands-on point of contact for live enterprise partners (e.g., creator platforms, marketplaces, gig-economy firms).

  • Act as a first-line technical resource to triage API batch failures, webhook errors, and settlement discrepancies directly with partner engineering teams before escalating to internal engineering.

  • Monitor transaction volume metrics continuously to identify usage anomalies, operational risks, or drop-offs ahead of formal account reviews.

4. Function Building & Operational Excellence (10%)

  • Design, test, and implement foundational post-sale processes, including client onboarding playbooks, account health scoring models, QBR formats, and internal escalation paths.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Wise Platform teams across Technical Support, Compliance, Pricing, and Product to optimize client experience and workflow efficiency.

5. Risk & Compliance Monitoring (10%)

  • Monitor evolving partner business models and payment flows to identify potential regulatory or compliance shifts, partnering with internal Compliance teams to adjust operational setups as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of post-sale account management, customer success, or partner management experience in payments, fintech, or technical API infrastructure.

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience meeting or exceeding quantified expansion and net revenue growth metrics (not solely customer satisfaction/NPS scores).

  • Technical Aptitude: Clear understanding of API and payment infrastructure concepts; able to accurately scope and diagnose client technical issues to drive quick resolution with internal engineering and product teams.

  • Builder Mindset: Strong comfort level with ambiguity, unstructured environments, and building operational playbooks from scratch.

  • Data Fluency: Proven capability using transactional data and client usage metrics to assess portfolio health and surface expansion opportunities.
