Job Description

As part of our growing Account Management team, you will be responsible for driving growth and deepening relationships across a portfolio of strategic platform partners in North America.

You will own partner relationships end-to-end within Wise Platform — focusing on retention, expansion, and long-term value creation. This includes identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, managing commercial discussions, and collaborating with internal teams (including Partner Risk) to ensure sustainable growth.

This role is based in our Austin office and involves close collaboration with both regional and global teams, including Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Compliance & Legal, Delivery, and Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth & Expansion: Own the full commercial strategy for your portfolio, identifying and executing opportunities to upsell and cross-sell new solutions across existing fintech partners.

  • Strategic Account Ownership: Act as the end-to-end owner of the partner relationship, managing both retention and new sales within existing accounts.

  • Commercial & Legal Negotiation: Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations, ensuring competitive terms that align with Wise Platform’s pricing and revenue goals.

  • Go-to-Market Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Delivery, Risk and Product teams to drive product adoption and seamless implementation of new API solutions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior decision-makers to influence their international payments strategy and advocate for Wise Platform as their preferred provider.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Account Management, North America Commercial Director, and teams across Delivery, Compliance, Customer Success, and Product to drive execution.

  • Data-Driven Growth Planning: Use analytics and market insights to create and execute growth strategies, ensuring that accounts are on track with forecasted performance.

Your mission:

  • Work with the Wise Platform team to build, close, and deliver a strong pipeline of opportunities within your existing accounts, driving product innovation, revenue, and volume growth for Wise.

  • Develop comprehensive account plans for key platform partners, articulating strategies for expansion and growth.

  • Establish strong relationships with your platform partners by understanding their strategic objectives and decision-making process

  • Lead QBRs and become the subject matter expert for your partners.

  • Design and manage stakeholder maps that capture essential contacts from Wise and the Partner and how they engage each other.

  • Utilize data to pinpoint opportunities and to inform data-driven dialogue with your partners.

  • Provide consistent and concise internal updates on partner performance and engagements, highlighting blockers and leveraging support across various functions as required.

  • Collaborate closely with other Wise teams to develop and enhance Wise product capabilities in the online platforms vertical through new integrated partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise Sales within fintech, SaaS, or financial services

  • Strong understanding of the North American banking and fintech landscape, particularly in cross-border payments

  • Proven track record of growing accounts and driving measurable revenue impact

  • Comfortable working toward and exceeding revenue targets and KPIs

  • Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite

  • Hands-on and proactive — comfortable leading partner conversations, navigating challenges, and driving outcomes

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to deeply understand deals and identify where to invest for maximum impact

  • Able to balance commercial, technical, and operational discussions — from solutioning integrations to negotiating terms
