Applications Engineers work closely with Test & Measurement’s sales and business development teams to meet or exceed sales quota by providing technical leadership in qualifying, advancing, and closing sales opportunities. We are seeking new graduates with a strong technical background and customer-focused mentality to join a team of business and technical leaders who drive new areas of growth for T&M.  Come join our team!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Interacting with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements and recommend appropriate T&M solutions 
  • Creating proof-of-concepts with T&M NI hardware and software for demonstrations to customers 
  • Building relationships and trust with customers and account managers
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product feedback and contribute towards technical initiatives

    In the first six months, you will receive tailored technical and business training that will prepare you for an Applications Engineer role serving customers in the Portfolio Business Unit that serves Life Science, Electrical Machinery, Energy and Academic customers!

You convert ideas into actions and produce results with new initiatives. 

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor of Science degree with an engineering or computer science concentration
  • Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment (e.g., Power supplies, DMMs, Scopes, function generators, etc.)
  • Familiarity with high-level programming language (e.g., C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, Python, etc.)
  • Effective oral, written, presentation and communication skills 
  • Effective collaboration skills
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of time throughout the Americas region
  • Authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience with one or more or the following technical fields:

  • Mixed Signal 
  • Data Acquisition with Lab Instruments
  • Power electronics
