We are looking for an energetic, detail-driven Associate Benefits Specialist to help elevate our employee experience and support Arrive’s rapid organizational growth. In this role, you will build credibility as a trusted frontline resource, managing relationships across internal teams, and our valued employees. What You'll Do

  • Assist in the administration of Arrive's employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental programs, wellness initiatives, 401(k) plan and time off policies. 
  • Support the administration of employment leave of absence under the mentorship of the senior benefits specialist (FMLA, Medical, USERRA, workers comp, STD, ADA, etc.). Assist in relaying policies and providing pay expectations to employees.
  • Assist with daily benefits administration, monthly self-bill invoices, 401(k) and HSA funding, reporting and auditing while learning continuous improvement processes. 
  • Support Workday reporting, business processes and SOP creation. Assist with testing new system build-outs under guidance. 
  • Resolve basic employee questions regarding benefit policies and procedures, ensuring timely responses and a positive employee experience. 
  • Monitor PTO policies and assist in answering basic employee and manager questions regarding PTO, wellness, and holidays. 
  • Support the coordination of the enrollment process for new hires, life events, and open enrollment. Assist with communication materials and educational webinars. 
  • Learn about our employee population to help improve team communication and assist employees in understanding benefit offerings. 
  • Facilitate and provide benefits education to new hires during onboarding. 
  • Ownership of general system upkeep, accurate data entry, manual uploads, and basic troubleshooting under mentorship. 
  • Respond to general benefit inquiries regarding plan provisions, eligibility, and enrollment. Escalating complex issues as needed. 
  • Support Mexico generalists with onboarding materials and assist in answering basic international benefit questions. 
  • Research compliance topics (ERISA, COBRA, ACA) to help the team ensure benefit programs meet federal and state laws. 
  • Maintain and update employee and candidate-facing benefit portals. 
  • Document processes and keeping SOPs up-to-date in a central location. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for on-site benefits at each of our locations, partnering with HR Generalists and local leadership to execute on-site, while maintaining a consistent employee experience across our offices.
  • Administer and track gym membership partnership and monthly enrollments. 
  • Ownership of organization and secure storage of PHI & PII, strictly adhering to HIPAA compliance guidelines. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, or related field of study.
  • 0–2 years of experience in benefits administration, human resources, or a fast-paced corporate support environment; logistics or tech industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday experience is a strong advantage) and strong proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Exceptional customer service mindset with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professional integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
