Job Description

Develops profitable business account relationships and increased profitability from existing and new accounts. Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services. Makes sales presentations to existing and/or prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs. Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience
- Ability to travel (local and regional, some national)

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Prior experience in business card sales/payments

- Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including the development of sales strategies and goals and closing skills

- Demonstrated ability to build a book of business from the ground up through proactive prospecting and developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities

- Experience working with businesses with $2.5MM+ in annual revenue

- Strong credit analysis and financial assessment skills, with understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions

- Proven success developing and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new business opportunities

- Demonstrated ability to manage pipeline activity with strong follow‑up and execution discipline

- Solid knowledge of payment products, with general understanding of product marketing and organizational operations

- Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision‑making, and creative problem resolution

- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage leads, activities, and sales performance

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $103,950.00 - 127,050.00
