This is an exciting role within the rapidly growing Optum Home & Community Care Delivery division within UnitedHealth Group. This role will support National Performance and Operations of the business, enabling performance data transparency and literacy, along with supporting strategic business decisioning spanning numerous components of the organization.
This is an exciting opportunity that allows the Business Analyst to: work with business performance leads to manage and enhance existing performance reporting portfolio, enable proactive performance strategic efforts through leading indicator/root cause analysis efforts, and support ongoing development/maintenance of operational process documentation. The incumbent will be multifaceted with a solid business process and performance background with interest in developing/enhancing their complementary data analytics/reporting skillset.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

- Management of National executive level performance package delivery[KJ2.1], quality assurance and opportunities for root cause analysis collaborations and socialization
- Clinical program specific performance package delivery/quality assurance and ongoing maintenance and enhancement opportunity identification and collaborative solutioning
- Foundational business intelligence and requirements gathering for translation into operational insights and change management strategies, via stakeholder engagement

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience leveraging data reporting dashboards leveraging Power BI or equivalent data visualization software (DOMO, Tableau)
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel (Advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, lists, etc.)
- Proven proficiency with MS PowerPoint to build, edit, and format visual presentations in alignment with corporate branding policies
- Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proven solid communication and collaboration skills, with ability to share findings with cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst supporting a healthcare delivery organization or project, etc.
- 1+ years of preparing/creating/managing reporting and analysis
- 1+ years of experience SQL, SAS, PYTHON, R programming and/ or data manipulation
- Experience working in a government, legal, health care, managed care and/or health insurance environment in a regulatory, privacy or compliance role
