Generate qualified outbound pipeline through cold calling, multi-channel prospecting, prospect research, qualification, and disciplined follow-up. Book high-quality sales meetings, manage CRM records in HubSpot, track funnel performance, prioritize commercial opportunities, respond to inbound leads, and help develop a repeatable outbound sales playbook. The role requires independent remote work, strong communication, measurable performance, and comfort using AI tools.

Rechat is the operating system for real estate. Marketing, CRM, transactions, listings and AI in a single product, replacing the disconnected stack of tools most agents are forced to stitch together.

We partner with brokerages, teams and agents across North America to modernize how real estate is marketed, managed and transacted. Some of the largest brokerages and networks on the continent run their business on Rechat, and tens of thousands of agents use Rechat every week.

We have spent the last two years rebuilding the product to be AI-native, and we are growing quickly.

REMOTE (Work may be performed anywhere)

The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative whose core strength is outbound prospecting, especially cold calling.

Outbound is the core of this role. You will actively identify, research and contact high-performing real estate teams and brokerages, create interest in Rechat and generate meaningful sales opportunities. You will also follow up quickly on inbound leads, but if you are looking for a mostly inbound role, this is not it.

Phone outreach will be a major part of the role. You should be comfortable speaking with people who were not expecting your call, navigating objections and consistently turning outbound activity into qualified conversations.

We are intentionally not defining this position as strictly Enterprise or SMB. The right opportunities may come from different parts of the market, and we want our BDR team focused on prospects where the commercial opportunity justifies the investment of sales resources.

You will work closely with our revenue leadership and sales team to determine who we should pursue, what messaging works, which channels convert and which opportunities should move forward.

The goal is not activity for the sake of activity. The goal is qualified pipeline and revenue.

We are continuing to build and refine this outbound motion, so you should be comfortable testing, learning and helping create a repeatable system rather than simply operating inside an established playbook.

What You’ll Own:

  • Outbound pipeline generation. Identify and engage high-performing real estate teams and brokerages.
  • Cold calling. Consistently make outbound calls, create conversations, navigate objections and identify real opportunities.
  • Multi-channel prospecting. Support phone outreach with thoughtful email, LinkedIn, video, social and other channels.
  • Prospect research. Understand who you are contacting, why they may be a fit for Rechat and what is most likely to create a relevant conversation.
  • Qualification. Understand the prospect’s organization, current technology, needs, team structure, timing, buying intent and commercial potential before moving an opportunity forward.
  • Opportunity prioritization. Recognize which prospects justify deeper BDR and sales investment and which should follow a more transactional path.
  • Qualified meetings. Book conversations for the sales team based on fit and opportunity potential, not simply meeting volume.
  • Follow-up. Run disciplined multi-touch outreach and know when to continue, change your approach or move on.
  • Inbound follow-up. Respond quickly to inbound leads, qualify them and route them to the right seller.
  • CRM management. Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, qualification, next steps and opportunities in HubSpot.
  • Funnel performance. Track and understand your calls, conversations, meetings, qualified opportunities, conversion and pipeline generated.
  • Messaging and feedback. Share what you are hearing from prospects and help Sales, Marketing and Product improve positioning and outreach.
  • Building the playbook. Help identify what works and turn successful approaches into a repeatable outbound process as the team grows.

How You’ll Be Measured:

Success in this role is measured by the sales accepted opportunities you create, the pipeline value behind them and the show rate on the meetings you book. Activity matters, but it is not the goal.

What You Bring:

Be prepared to walk us through your experience and results in detail.

  • Proven success generating pipeline in a BDR, SDR, inside sales or similar outbound revenue role.
  • Significant experience with outbound calling. Cold calling should have been a meaningful part of your previous role, not an occasional activity.
  • The ability to explain your past performance using real metrics such as call volume, conversations, meetings generated, conversion rates and pipeline created.
  • Strong qualification skills. You know how to determine whether an opportunity is worth moving forward rather than simply booking a meeting.
  • Commercial judgment. You understand that not every prospect deserves the same level of sales investment and can prioritize higher-value opportunities.
  • The ability to prospect across different customer segments and adjust your approach based on the size and complexity of the opportunity.
  • Clear, confident communication by phone, email and video.
  • Persistence and disciplined follow-up without sounding robotic or overly scripted.
  • Strong organization and CRM discipline. HubSpot experience is preferred.
  • Comfort being measured against visible weekly and monthly performance goals.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong overlap with U.S. business hours.
  • Comfort using modern AI tools for research, personalization, preparation and workflow efficiency.
  • Real estate, PropTech, SaaS, websites, digital marketing or technology sales experience is helpful but not required.

Probably Not the Right Fit If

  • You are primarily looking for an inbound sales role.
  • You are uncomfortable making outbound calls every day.
  • You book meetings without seriously qualifying whether the opportunity is worth pursuing.
  • You need a mature sales playbook with every list, script, sequence and process already built for you.
  • You are uncomfortable being held accountable to measurable performance goals.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Fully remote with flexible work/life balance
  • A diverse, inclusive, and highly collaborative culture
  • Meaningful work with a product used by real professionals every day
  • Flexible Paid Time Off

We are an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. All employment decisions are made without regard to legally protected characteristics. Background and reference checks required.
