In this role, you will lead commercial origination and business development activities for Enbridge Gas Transmission and Midstream assets in the United States Gulf Coast region. You will strengthen customer relationships, identify profitable growth opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and coordinate cross-functional support to advance projects that align with Enbridge’s strategy and investment criteria.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the commercial origination strategy for Enbridge Gas Transmission and Midstream assets across the Gulf Coast region.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers to secure contract renewals, identify optimization opportunities, and generate new business.

  • Identify, evaluate, and advance onshore natural gas growth projects and expansion opportunities in collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams.

  • Lead or support commercial negotiations, due diligence, contract development, and approval processes while coordinating operational and back-office requirements.

  • Build alignment across Legal, Regulatory, Engineering, System Planning, Project Development, Economic Evaluation, Commercial Operations, and Field Operations.

  • Maintain knowledge of natural gas markets, competitors, and customer needs; assess unsuccessful efforts and support strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 7+ years of experience in the natural gas or energy industry within marketing, accounting, finance, commercial operations, or a related area.

  • Strong knowledge of natural gas commercial operations; experience with an interstate or intrastate pipeline company is preferred.

  • Demonstrative analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and commercial decision-making skills.

  • Ability to build productive customer and stakeholder relationships and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared outcomes.

  • Experience in commercial operations, sales, marketing, project development, or a similar industrial environment is preferred; knowledge of North American gas markets, including the Permian, Haynesville, and Eagle Ford shale regions, is an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Moderate (25%) travel.

  • A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light to moderate lifting of objects weighing up to 20 pounds, reaching above the shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirements such as viewing screens, detecting color coding, and reading fine print, hearing requirements, and the ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and written instructions or other information; understand complex problems and collaborate to explore alternative solutions; organize thoughts and ideas using understandable terminology; organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term basis; make decisions that have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impacts outside this area; understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines; complete routine forms; compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports; and communicate with individuals by telephone.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $135,100 to $160,000 USD for U.S. locations, based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
