Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Business Operations Project Manager based in Austin, TX to support and scale U.S. operations across the mission-critical construction lifecycle. This role serves as a central operational leader responsible for driving client onboarding, cross-functional coordination, business operations project management, and operational readiness across multiple internal teams.

The Business Operations Project Manager will act as a key partner to Sales, Finance, Legal, HR, and operational leadership, ensuring seamless execution from client onboarding through ongoing delivery. As Overwatch continues to grow, this role will play a critical part in establishing consistent, scalable operational processes that support growth, efficiency, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Account Operations Support
  • Serve as the primary Business Operations partner for U.S.-based client accounts from onboarding through ongoing execution.
  • Manage and track onboarding milestones, prepare required documentation, and ensure timely completion across Sales, Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure clients are operationally ready for project execution.
  • Identify and proactively address operational gaps that could impact client experience or delivery timelines.
  • Support account-level operational needs to ensure continuity, accuracy, and responsiveness.

Business Operations Project Management & Operational Readiness
  • Lead and manage cross-functional business operations projects that support company growth and operational efficiency.
  • Support entity-related operational needs, including documentation, vendor onboarding, compliance coordination, and process alignment.
  • Assist with company and project insurance coordination, including gathering requirements, managing documentation, and partnering with brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support procurement initiatives, vendor coordination, and operational readiness activities.
  • Maintain project plans, operational dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive-ready updates.
  • Drive standardization of workflows, documentation, and operating procedures across the business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner closely with Sales, Business Operations, Finance, HR, Legal, and executive leadership to align operational execution with business strategy.
  • Facilitate clear communication, structured handoffs, and accountability across teams.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to increase scalability, accuracy, and speed.
  • Support change management as new tools, processes, and systems are implemented.
  • Act as a trusted operational advisor to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding, operational readiness, or internal process implementation.
  • Exposure to insurance coordination, compliance-related operations, or vendor management is preferred.
  • Experience in construction, mission-critical infrastructure, or data center environments is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and driving initiatives to completion.
