About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Team

Agentforce Operations (AFO) is part of Salesforce’s AI Labs—the innovation engine driving the company’s biggest platform shift in a decade. We are purpose-built to deliver mid- and back-office automation for high-volume, manual processes that front-office tools don't address.

The momentum here is real. We are operating at 3x speed, proving out a massive 'Land & Expand' GTM motion, and building the future of autonomous enterprise operations. As a dedicated, embedded Operations team within AFO, we are the connective tissue. We track execution, manage the internal operating cadence, and drive cross-functional coordination across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering. We act as the internal consulting arm: identifying key operating indicators, setting the planning agenda, and driving recommendations directly to senior leadership.

Role Overview

We are building the operational foundation for one of Salesforce’s fastest-growing, highest-visibility businesses.

The right person is a strong business operator who can run the operating rhythm and get underneath the numbers. Rather than waiting for a fully-defined process, you are a self-starter who builds structure where none exists. You instinctively ask the questions that keep a business honest:

  • Are we on plan? Where are the gaps between what we planned and what is actually happening?

  • What's driving the data? Why do numbers not reconcile across teams, and is variance structural or a one-off?

  • What does this mean going forward? What has shifted in the forecast, and what needs to be buttoned up before the next business review?

The ideal candidate can dive deep into the detail, then zoom back out to see the bigger picture. If you proactively anticipate questions, arrive at every conversation with answers in hand, and thrive in ambiguity, this high-visibility role will let you leverage your analytical rigor in front of senior AI Labs stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive comprehensive business planning cycles (quarterly/annual), seamlessly translating high-level strategy into actionable operational plans, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Program manages complex operational initiatives, acting as the connective tissue across cross-functional teams to track milestones and ensure flawless end-to-end execution.

  • Lead forward-planning and scenario modeling, anticipating future capacity, resourcing, and budget needs before they become urgent realities.

  • Build scalable reporting infrastructure and models that translate raw operational data into clear, defensible narratives, executive dashboards, and business reviews

  • Own the financial and operational mechanics, executing headcount plans, maintaining variance tracking, and creating the connective tissue between planning cycles.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Recruiting, TPM, Data Management, and CSG to align planning inputs and resolve competing priorities.

  • Identify gaps and friction in current planning processes and drive resolution end-to-end.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy & operations, FP&A, consulting, or a comparable analytical field

  • Background in investment banking, management consulting, or a startup environment strongly preferred — the kind of experience that builds sharp analytical instincts and comfort with ambiguity under pressure

  • Advanced analytical and data modeling skills — comfortable working with ambiguous or incomplete data and driving to a defensible answer

  • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven, able to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without dropping precision

  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the judgment to know which questions matter most

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present confidently to senior executives and build alignment among stakeholders

  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and drive consensus without direct authority

  • Comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-cutting mechanics rather than a narrowly-scoped function

  • Proven experience building and scaling operational processes, reporting infrastructure, or planning motions from scratch (0-to-1 experience).

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment

  • Proficiency with BI/analytics tools (Tableau, SQL, or similar) and comfort building lightweight automation or AI-assisted tooling

  • Familiarity with Salesforce's internal operating model
