The Operations team plays a critical role in enabling the success of our Professional Services organization by ensuring operational excellence across billing, project setup, reporting, and financial processes. The Client Services Operations Associate will partner closely with analysts, specialists, and project teams to manage the day-to-day operational flow that supports accurate billing, clean project data, and efficient execution of core business activities.

This role requires a strong problem solver who thrives on structure, precision, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Certinia, a solid understanding of billing and financial transactions, and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Own operational excellence across project setup, milestone management, billing, and reporting within Certinia and Salesforce.

  • Validate and maintain project data integrity by ensuring accuracy of key fields such as billing milestones, project types, and financial transactions.

  • Analyze operational data to identify discrepancies, trends, and process gaps, escalating issues and driving resolution proactively.

  • Support month end close activities, including milestone verification, billing event generation, and reconciliation of project financials.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Project Management, and PS Operations leadership to streamline workflows and resolve transaction or system related blockers.

  • Monitor operational performance through dashboards and reports, providing insights that enable leadership to make informed business decisions.

  • Document and refine processes to ensure consistency in project setup, billing execution, and reporting practices across global teams.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and recommending system or process enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

  • Serve as a subject matter liaison for Certinia processes and data standards within the Professional Services organization.

Desired Profile:

  • Experience: 3+ years in Professional Services Operations, Business Operations, or Financial Operations roles supporting project delivery and billing.

  • Certinia experience is strongly preferred, including hands on work with project setup, milestones, billing events, and revenue processes.

  • Understanding of project accounting concepts, billing cycles, and transaction management within a professional services environment.

  • Proven ability to analyze operational data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a track record of driving resolution for data or process issues.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, systems, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering across Finance, Project Management, and Operations teams.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and comfort with data manipulation and reporting.

  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset that is comfortable challenging the status quo and recommending process or system enhancements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Very strong written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced metric driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation.

  • Analytical mind & attention to detail.
     

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$77,200 - $110,300 - $143,400

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
