About the job

About Swap

Swap is the infrastructure behind modern agentic commerce. The only AI-native platform connecting backend operations with a forward-thinking storefront experience.

Built for brands that want to sell anything - anywhere, Swap centralizes global operations, powers intelligent workflows, and unlocks margin-protecting decisions with real-time data and capability. Our products span cross-border, tax, returns, demand planning, and our next-generation agentic storefront, giving merchants full transparency and the ability to act with confidence.

At Swap, we're building a culture that values clarity, creativity, and shared ownership as we redefine how global commerce works.

Your Role

Our commercial team is expanding, our product suite is maturing, and the way we enable our people to sell and succeed is becoming a genuine competitive advantage. This is where you come in.

We're looking for a Commercial Content Specialist who wants the opportunity to shape how an entire commercial organisation learns - owning the content, the catalog, and the cadence that keeps our team aligned around things like product positioning, best practices, and brand message. If you're someone who gets energy from building things that matter, who loves turning complexity into clarity, and who wants to see the direct impact of their work in how a team performs - this is the role for you.

As Swap's first Commercial Content Specialist, this is an opportunity to own something meaningful from day one. You'll sit within the Sales organisation at Swap and report directly to the Commercial Enablement Manager, but this role will be cross-functional by design. You'll be responsible for bringing our enablement content to life - taking design documents and subject matter inputs from across the business and building them into polished, structured learning experiences in our LMS to level up the applicable knowledge within the commercial team.

You'll own the day-to-day creation and management of Swap's learning catalog, live session calendar, and course performance - ensuring every member of the commercial team has confidence and competence to deliver at a high level within their role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a structured learning environment for internal employees to improve both knowledge and competence.

  • Design and manage role-specific learning journeys with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.

  • Manage a calendar of facilitated enablement sessions, coordinating with subject matter experts.

  • Transform documentation and processes into engaging courses to build learn capabilities.

  • LMS management: course creation, course reviews, user administration, certification, support with queries.

Qualifications

  • Instructional design experience - proven experience designing outcome-first learning experiences and following instructional design best practices. Familiar with ADDIE method or similar.

  • Content authoring - comfortable building course content, whether in an LMS itself or tools like Articulate, Rise, or equivalent.

  • Presentation design - building clean, effective slide decks for live sessions (PowerPoint, Google Slides).

  • Project & calendar management - coordinating a live learning calendar across multiple stakeholders and topics.

  • Writing & editing - translating subject matter expert input into clear, learner-friendly content. Comfortable using AI but knows how to revise its output thoroughly to maintain accuracy, quality standards, and human touch.

Who you are

  • Curious & competitive - proactive and self-driven learning to maintain high standard of excellence within your work.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.

  • Stock options in a high-growth startup.

  • Competitive PTO with public holidays additional.

  • Private Health.

  • Pension.

  • Wellness benefits.

  • Breakfast Mondays.

Logistics

  • Location: Austin / NYC

  • Seniority: Mid-level

  • Reports to: Ryck Dyer, Commercial Enablement Manager

Diversity & Equal Opportunities We embrace diversity and equality in a serious way. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views.
