Leads an enterprise Account Executive team across a U.S. region, owning pipeline, revenue, forecasting, account planning, sales processes, onboarding, coaching, and growth targets. The role also develops user groups and customer feedback loops to inform product direction.

Imagine having the power to stress-test an entire power grid against a hurricane or thunderstorm before the clouds even gather. That is the reality we are creating at Neara.

We use advanced machine learning to create engineering-grade, physics enabled digital twins of electricity grids across four continents, this helps asset owners understand their biggest challenges and bring the most viable solutions to life across millions of kilometres of infrastructure.

By simulating extreme weather and structural stress at a network-wide scale, we empower the world’s largest utilities to pinpoint risks, optimise investments and build a more resilient global energy future.

Our team is a collection of brilliant minds who are fanatical about making a tangible difference in the real world, utilising AI and machine learning to accelerate everything from data classification to complex scenario analysis. We have built a special culture where innovation thrives because everyone owns the mission and we need smart, creative people to help us scale this impact to every corner of the globe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and develop the Account Executive team for an assigned US region, owning regional pipeline, revenue, and growth targets set with the Americas VP Sales.

  • Own the regional sales process end to end — qualification criteria, stage definitions, deal inspection, and forecast accuracy — and hold the team to it consistently.

  • Build and run the account planning cadence for top-priority enterprise accounts, ensuring every major account has a clear whitespace, stakeholder, and expansion plan that is reviewed and updated on a regular rhythm.

  • Drive adoption of the GTM scorecard across the region, using it as the shared source of truth for performance, leading indicators, and coaching priorities rather than as a reporting exercise.

  • Design and run onboarding for new Account Executives, and take direct accountability for ramp acceleration — measurably shortening time to first qualified pipeline and first closed deal.

  • Establish a consistent coaching rhythm of 1:1s, call reviews, deal reviews, and skills development that lifts performance across both new and tenured reps.

  • Support your team in strategic deals as a coach, strategist, and executive sponsor — shaping deal strategy, unblocking stalled cycles, and joining critical customer meetings — while your Account Executives own and close the business.

  • Partner with ABM Marketing Managers to strategize and execute regional account-based marketing campaigns aligned with regional pod priorities.

  • Build a collaborative, team-oriented culture across the Americas region as we scale toward $100M in GTM ARR.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in regional market priorities such that you are comfortable in a room of utility engineers or C-suite executives.

  • Travel frequently to customer sites and industry events, including speaking and presenting on Neara's behalf.

  • Create regional user groups and industry events that build structured customer feedback loops and guide the product roadmap.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience leading and managing enterprise sales teams, with a consistent record of delivering against team revenue targets.

  • Has implemented scalable sales systems — sales process, account planning, forecasting discipline, and performance scorecards — across a team of 10+ reps; experience building those systems from the ground up is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success onboarding and ramping new sales hires, with a clear point of view on what shortens time to productivity.

  • A genuine coach: you can diagnose why a rep or a deal is stuck and change the outcome through structured feedback and development.

  • 7+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong understanding of the subscription-based model and complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles.

  • Comfortable operating in a data-driven sales environment — CRM hygiene, pipeline analytics, and leading indicators are tools you use, not chores you delegate.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and the internal Neara team.

  • Familiarity with geospatial technology, GIS, Digital Twin, and LiDAR applications is advantageous.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING YOU

  • Competitive Salary & Benefits

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance

  • 401K with a matching program

  • Excellent PTO Offering

  • Flexible hours and working arrangements

  • The real benefit is working on a genuinely complex, innovative, and industry-leading product that makes a genuine difference in the world around us.

Base salary is just one part of the total compensation package and is determined by factors such as level, market location, skills, experience, and other considerations.
