 Program Overview:    

  • Start Date: flexible to start as soon as possible

  • Onboarding: dedicated onboarding activities to help you learn about Expedia Group and set you up for success in your new role 

  • Social Events and Networking: build your network with other participants in the program during socials and join our Inclusion Business Groups     

  • Support Network: mentorship from a dedicated structure of leaders and navigators (buddies) as well as the Emerging Talent team; access to Expedia Group mentoring programs   

 

What You’ll do: 

As a Commercial Graduate you’ll be placed in our Partner Growth & Agility (PGA) or similar team within the Travel Partners & Media division, where the focus is on fueling excellent and competitive supply across Expedia Group’s business-to-business (B2B) relationships – focusing on hotels. 

 

  • Reach out to potential hotel partners: You'll make calls to speak to current Expedia Group hotel partners, helping to grow and optimize accounts and build strong client relationships. 

  • Learn and apply sales techniques: You'll work with your team to drive results by developing and applying different sales strategies to promote and negotiate the current portfolio of products to hotel partners. 

  • Understand partner needs: Through phone conversations, data analysis, and research, you'll identify what partners need and be able to recommend the best solutions and next steps. 

  • Develop market knowledge: You will build a strong understanding and knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a recent graduate (within 2 years) with an undergraduate degree at the time of joining  

  • Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance 

  • Must commit to full time hours every week 

  • Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role 

  • Must have desire for sales; account management, partner / client success, or related field 

  • Must have a growth or learner mindset 

  • Must have empathy and be inclusive 

  • Must be interested to work in sales, account management, partner/client success, or related field and show a willingness to engage with Expedia Group’s partners through regular phone calls

  • Must have strong communication skills, be organized and show attention to detail

  • Must be able to showcase a strong focus on meeting targets and remaining agile based on changing demands of the business

The total cash range (inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target) for this position in Austin is $70,000 to $98,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $112,000, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $70,000.00 to $98,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $112,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
