As the Senior Contracts Manager, you will provide end-to-end commercial and risk leadership for a portfolio of projects within GE Vernova’s Power Conversion and Storage business. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $127,500.00 and $212,500.00. What Will You Do
- Own contractual activities from sales handover through project closeout, ensuring that contractual obligations are understood, managed, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Lead contract analysis, negotiation, claims management, variation/change orders, customer financing requirements, and dispute avoidance/resolution on high-risk or escalated projects.
- Identify, assess, and communicate contractual, regulatory, and commercial risks and opportunities, and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
- Advise project teams on contractual and regulatory/tax requirements, including notices, correspondence, deliverables, and compliance obligations.
- Partner with project teams and customers to maintain clear understanding of contract terms and to support successful execution.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Program Management, and other stakeholders to align commercial positions and resolve issues.
- Support sourcing activities by preparing subcontractor and supplier flow-down packages and reviewing related contractual obligations.
- Support management of customer and supplier claims, working closely with Legal and business teams on disputes and litigation as required.
- Support project insurance administration, including submission, monitoring, and settlement of insurance claims.
- Promote a collaborative working environment that drives functional engagement and supports delivery of project and services metrics.
- Build consensus across internal and external stakeholders on complex or sensitive contractual matters.
- Lead initiatives or workstreams related to contract process improvement and issue resolution
- Contribute to the development and improvement of contract management processes, tools, and standards within the business.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Contract Management, Legal, Commercial, or EPC/Infrastructure-related discipline; or Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of working across multiple functions and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Position is based in Pittsburgh, with up to 20% travel required. Other U.S. locations will be considered.
