Job Description :

The Denials Analyst will aid in the recovery of Medicaid funds where a third party carrier is responsible for payment, and has not reimbursed the Medicaid program. 

The Analyst will also assist in project management, reporting, and team administration as needed. 

The following are a list of responsibilities held by the Denials analyst but are not solely limited to these processes: 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Research and develop leads for potential claims Reviews and evaluates provider billing itemizations and records Create insurance claims for billing Understand the check disposition process at a high level Develop and maintain professional business relationships through verbal and written communication with insurance companies and medical care providers 

Multi-tasking; 

ability to prioritize work Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Experience in critical thinking, and problem-solving Coordinate recovery efforts with state age.
