T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.

The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a Designer to join our growing Marketing and Communications team. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can concept, execute, and deliver across a wide range of design outputs, from a social post that stops the scroll to a polished investor-ready presentation, and who can do it fast, without sacrificing quality.

We are a company that moves quickly and changes direction when the business demands it. The work is real, the timelines are tight, and the stakes are higher than most. If you've built your creative career in environments that reward initiative, thrive on variety, and don't wait for a perfect brief to do great work, you'll fit right in here. We're building something that matters for American energy, and we want designers who bring that same energy to the work.

What You'll Do

  • Design and produce internal and external marketing materials across print and digital formats: from campaign assets and presentations to sales collateral, event materials, and branded templates.

  • Create and iterate on social and performance media assets, designing for multiple platforms and formats with an understanding of what drives engagement.

  • Support photo editing and image production needs across marketing and communications initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, communications, and leadership teams to bring creative concepts to life quickly and effectively.

  • Use AI tools as a genuine part of your creative process, for ideation, concepting, and production, not just as a novelty.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively and delivering on time without needing to be chased.

  • Stay flexible and scrappy; this team moves fast and the brief will change, sometimes mid-project, and that should excite you rather than frustrate you.

  • Contribute animation and video editing support where needed (a strong plus, not a hard requirement).

Who You Are

  • A strong visual communicator with a sharp eye for detail, typography, layout, and brand consistency.

  • Experienced working in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities shift and the ability to pivot quickly is a genuine requirement, not a buzzword.

  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop are tools you use every day. You are comfortable in Figma for collaborative design work.

  • Open to integrating AI into your creative workflow and genuinely curious about how it can make your work better and faster.

  • Organized and self-managing: you track your own deadlines, communicate proactively when things change, and deliver without hand-holding.

  • Collaborative and low-ego: you take feedback well, iterate quickly, and care more about the outcome than being right.

  • Someone who is always learning, always improving, and never precious about being scrappy when the moment calls for it.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a creative or marketing design role.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Figma — required.

  • Demonstrated experience designing across both print and digital formats.

  • Experience creating social and performance media assets for multiple platforms.

  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of a creative and conceptual workflow.

  • Animation and video editing experience is a strong plus.

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A portfolio is required — site or PDF. Applications without one will not be considered.

The T1 Way

We move fast, expect accountability, and treat people with respect. We also have a no-jerks policy: we don't tolerate big egos, bad behavior or "that's not my job attitude". Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and have a sense of humor, you'll fit right in.

T1 Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristics.
