The Digital Commerce Growth Director will own the performance and continuous improvement of the Commerce digital experience, building and running the commercial and technical engine that drives self-serve revenue, pipeline, and conversion at scale. This is a hands-on role for a practitioner who has led and grown a digital commerce business and brings an operator's instinct to every decision.
What You Will Do:Own the health and performance of the full digital commerce journey from first touch through trial and purchase into the sales handoff
Build and maintain the visibility needed to make confident investment decisions, including campaign data, funnel trends, and conversion rates
Drive the self-serve to sales handoff by identifying and routing ICP trials to the right sales team with full journey context
Serve as the voice of the buyer by maintaining a feedback loop from trialing or self-serve customers back into the site, messaging, and product experience
Champion AI and modern conversion tooling in partnership with Solutions Engineering to reduce friction and improve data quality
Build the operating rhythm, including weekly measurement, regular reporting, and clear data on investment priorities
Act as an active member of cross-functional initiative sprints to identify high-impact problems and build fast, measurable outcomes
A practitioner who has led and grown a digital commerce business with direct accountability for conversion rates and trial flows. Must have practitioner experience on the BigCommerce platform
A commercially minded leader who connects digital experience decisions to revenue outcomes using data rather than intuition. Has held a revenue goal for the site
An expert with full-stack fluency in technology, traffic acquisition, trial experience, conversion, routing, and retention
Someone with Commerce platform knowledge from a deployment/solutions team
A natural collaborator who can move projects forward across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Ops without needing formal authority
A curious leader who lives in dashboards and heatmaps but also talks to customers to understand the "why" behind the numbers
3 to 5+ years of experience in a digital commerce, growth, or optimization role with a proven track record of measurable outcomes
For candidates based in the Austin, TX Metro area, this role follows a hybrid work model, with three days per week in the office to balance focused individual work and meaningful in-person collaboration.

(Pay Transparency Range: $143,154.00 - 214,730.00 USD)

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications and geographic location. We also consider internal equity to help ensure fair and consistent pay practices across our teams.
