- Execute the product roadmap by owning the feature set in a simply stated product backlog, adjusting the priority to account for technical and business needs
- Develop quality user stories that are consistently written and adhere to acceptance criteria standards
- Effectively navigate conflict between multiple business constituents and appropriately balancing risk with business value. Act as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders with the ability to manage expectations for major initiatives
- Work with User Experience, Product Management, and Member operations teams, and targeted user groups, to understand the customers' needs and requirements
- Maintain an open and constant communication amongst the team, management, and customers regarding project status and sprint outcomes
- Provide transparency into development plans and upcoming releases to business stakeholders
- Drive the product vision by actively influencing business initiatives with domain knowledge and experience
- Define, own, and prioritize the product backlog, including acceptance criteria, to ensure alignment with product vision, business objectives, and customer needs
- Make day-to-day prioritization and scope decisions for features, enhancements, defects, and technical work in collaboration with engineering and stakeholders
- Accept or reject completed product builds based on agreed upon acceptance criteria and quality standards
- Represent business and customer interests to the engineering team
- Balance business value, risk, and technical considerations when determining feature sequencing and release readiness
- Approve changes to product scope and requirements within their functional area, escalating as appropriate when changes impact timelines, cost, or strategic goals
- Escalate delivery risks, dependency conflicts, and impediments that may impact sprint outcomes, releases, or customer commitments
- Assure timely delivery of features via close collaboration with Scrum Master and development teams to define releases and eliminate roadblocks

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business Administration, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in technology product management/development
- 2+ years of experience utilizing Agile methodology techniques, ceremonies, and reporting measures
- 2+ years of experience related to the design and delivery of technology products and software-enable services
- Ability to face very difficult problems/issues that require very complex analysis, working across enterprise level components and modules
- Excels in spending time with end users, gathering feedback, and translating operational needs into system features
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in technology product management/development in the healthcare services/SaaS space
- Experience with Rally, Aha or similar tool
- Demonstrated interest in learning and understanding business processes and system workflows
- Experience working directly with software engineers and quality assurance team members
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset; proficient in analyzing qualitative and quantitative outputs
- Experience working across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
- Proven solid verbal and written communication, strategic planning, problem-solving, and project management skills
