Department: Sales

Reporting To: Digital Sales Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location(s): Austin, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Overview:

Audacy is seeking a Digital Sales Specialist to spearhead revenue growth through the strategic adoption of our comprehensive digital portfolio. This is a consultative sales support role with client-facing interaction. The role is designed for a candidate with technical and strategic digital knowledge who does not just help sell "products," rather moves our sales team to create comprehensive multi-channel digital strategies tailored to a client’s business objectives.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the digital landscape — customizing campaigns that bridge top-of-funnel awareness tactics (such as OTT and Digital Audio) with high-intent, bottom-of-funnel conversion tactics (such as Search), including conversion tracking best practices. You will act as a strategic advisor to both our internal local sales team and our valuable clients.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with account executives to identify and generate digital sales opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze digital marketing performance data, including client-specific metrics and consumer behavior trends.
  • Conduct needs analysis and present strategic recommendations to clients through in-person and virtual meetings.
  • Develop and present customized digital advertising solutions—including Search, OTT/Video, Display, Digital Audio, and Social Media—to deliver impactful client results.
  • Monitor and optimize active campaigns by analyzing performance metrics to improve efficiency and results.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to both internal sales teams and clients, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Strategic thinking, a flexible mindset, and problem solving skills are critical to success in this role.
  • Maintain an active role in consistently driving digital revenue growth through sales activity.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bilingual preferred.
  • 2+ years sales related experience preferred.
  • 2+ years digital marketing experience preferred.
  • College Degree preferred but not required.
  • Proven success in building client marketing campaigns by utilizing digital platforms (Search, Social, Display, Video, and Audio).
  • Thorough understanding of digital advertising, multi-channel strategies, and customer-centric success metrics.
  • A creative, flexible mindset in creating custom multi-channel campaigns focused on solving client stated needs.
  • Strong problem solving skills - you’re someone who identifies a problem as an opportunity to develop business.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint for data visualization).
  • Must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a positive attitude and be an effective communicator.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
