Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $62,579.00 - $84,480.00Position Summary
The Digital Solutions Engineer will be an essential part of the team, working cross functionally to recommend and implement solutions for website tracking and optimization, user experience, marketing analytics, and UTM strategy. Additionally, this role will work closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Analytics and Architecture on all aspects of third party vendor solutions related to the website. The position will be responsible for ensuring the system is accurately collecting data across all platforms that have an impact on the marketing metrics. This position will help ensure analytics implementations follow best practices for new and existing measurement partners such as: Facebook, Google, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other reporting / ad platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate requirement gathering and documentation of solution options for integrations supporting web analytics and media measurement tools
- Responsible for managing the GTM container and ensuring that page load times are not impacting the user experience
- Responsible for QA related to analytics tags and reconciling data down funnel through the Lead Management System and Salesforce
- Work with the Performance Media teams to ensure that campaign tracking is implemented according to our current campaign standards
- Performs regular tag audits, identifying data collection issues as well as opportunities to improve efficiency
- Accountability for Lead Tracking issues that are reported, identifying the source of the issue, as well as the solution, from the Lead Management System through Salesforce, working with Web Development and Enrollment Operations teams as needed
- Responsible for testing implementations and ensuring full functionality
- Working with internal stakeholders and vendors as issues arise during implementation and beyond

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Math, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in digital marketing analytics preferred
- 1+ years of experience working in web analytics tools, media measurement platforms, or marketing science
- 1+ years of experience with web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture, CDP)
- 1+ years of experience with Tag Management implementation and configuration (Google Tag Manager preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Experience in higher education is a plus
- Experience consuming web-based data connections including OData, REST and SOAP APIs and programming with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is helpful
Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:
- Experience in creating and maintaining process flow diagrams with Visio or Miro
- Detailed understanding of GTM (Google Tag Manager) and related applications
- Good communication skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Expert problem solving, critical, and analytical thinking skills
- In depth of standard Google Analytics 4 (GA4) reports as well as custom report creation
- Microsoft Office Suite 365, including advanced excel functionality
