Step into a leadership role where strategy meets execution. As a Director of Business Operations | Procurement, you will lead a team responsible for pre-order operational activities including sales order support, fulfillment, pricing, and procurement. You will be responsible for driving supplier strategy, optimizing contracts, and elevating operational excellence through technology and process improvements. Working across a dynamic software ecosystem, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver scalable solutions and long-term value. We are seeking applicants with strong negotiation expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead strategic negotiations for enterprise software platforms and SaaS subscriptions, driving favorable commercial outcomes while maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle—from RFP development and negotiation through execution, renewal, and compliance—for software and professional services agreements
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies across software licensing, consulting services, and technology partnerships, balancing cost, quality, and risk
  • Oversee the Travel & Expense program, including supplier negotiations, policy development, compliance, and program optimization
  • Implement and enhance procurement technologies across the procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle, including CLM, ERP, and workflow automation tools
  • Analyze financial models to support deal structuring, total cost of ownership, and savings reporting for executive stakeholders
  • Lead procurement transformation initiatives, including process improvements, system implementations, and organizational change efforts while mentoring and developing team members

What you will likely bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive procurement experience with demonstrated success negotiating enterprise software and SaaS agreements
  • Deep expertise in software licensing models, subscription agreements, professional services contracts, and supplier relationship management
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in deal structuring, pricing analysis, margin evaluation, and cost optimization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and CLM systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance, risk management, and software licensing governance

  • Experience working in private equity-backed or high-growth SaaS environments, including scaling operations or supporting M&A activity
  • Background implementing AI-enabled procurement tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics solutions
  • Experience building or transforming procurement functions, including organizational design and change management
  • Knowledge of royalty models or software billing optimization processes

Range:

Minimum: $138,000 USD Maximum: $235,000 USD

The salary range provided reflects the national average for this job title and does not represent compensation specific to Epicor Software Corporation. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and market factors relevant to the position.
