The Director / Sr. Director of Events leads our events function end to end. You lead an in-house team of eight events managers and planners, and you are accountable for the strategy, execution, and ROI of every event across the EverPro portfolio — from a national footprint of 130+ regional and vertical tradeshows to our flagship user conferences, a large industry event, our internal Sales Kickoff (SKO), and Presidents Club. You own events as a growth channel: generating pipeline, deepening customer relationships, and building the EverPro and brand-level presence across a multi-brand portfolio.

Strategy & Portfolio Ownership

  • Own the events strategy across the EverPro multi-brand portfolio, translating company growth and retention targets into an annual events calendar, budget, and measurement framework.
  • Own the full events portfolio — from regional and vertical tradeshows through flagship user conferences, a large industry event, SKO, and Presidents Club — and the connective tissue between demand generation, customer marketing, and sales enablement.
  • Be accountable for the performance and ROI of every event investment: pipeline generated, customer engagement, brand presence, and cost efficiency across brands.

Tradeshow & Field Event Management

  • Manage a portfolio of 130+ tradeshows, regional shows, and field events per year across a multi-brand portfolio, prioritizing investment by vertical, market, and expected return.
  • Set the standard for booth strategy, staffing, and lead capture, and hold brand and regional teams accountable to consistent execution and follow-up.
  • Build repeatable playbooks and vendor relationships that let the team scale show volume without sacrificing quality or blowing the budget.

Flagship Events & Executive Programs

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of multiple user conferences, including venue selection, agenda and content strategy, speaker management, sponsorships, and on-site production.
  • Lead planning for a large industry event, representing EverPro's brands and coordinating cross-functional participation, sponsorship strategy, and executive presence.
  • Own Sales Kickoff (SKO) end to end — content flow, logistics, venue, and the overall experience — in partnership with Sales leadership.
  • Own Presidents Club end to end — destination selection, budget, guest experience, and logistics — in partnership with Sales leadership.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and scale an in-house team of eight events managers and planners — setting clear goals, raising the bar on craft, and building a high-performance, detail-driven culture.
  • Structure the team and workload against a 130+ show calendar and a slate of flagship events, ensuring clear ownership and coverage across brands and regions.
  • Manage the vendor and agency ecosystem — venues, production partners, booth builders, travel — holding partners to the same standard of rigor and results as the in-house team.

Budget & Measurement

  • Own the events budget and the efficiency of every dollar — cost per lead, cost per opportunity, and contribution to pipeline and retention.
  • Build measurement and post-event reporting that connects event investment to pipeline, revenue influence, and customer outcomes.
  • Report performance to leadership with clear narrative, sharp insight, and a credible point of view on where to invest next.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner across the business — with sales, product marketing, brand, customer marketing, and finance — to align the events calendar to pipeline goals, product launches, and customer lifecycle moments.
  • Partner with brand and creative teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across every tradeshow booth, conference, and executive event.
  • Represent events in company-wide planning, ensuring the calendar reflects the right balance of demand generation, customer engagement, and internal culture-building events.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • 10+ years in event marketing / event management, with 3–5+ years leading and developing teams.
  • A proven track record managing a high-volume tradeshow calendar (100+ events/year) across multiple brands, verticals, or regions.
  • Direct experience owning flagship programs — user conferences, large industry events, internal sales kickoffs, or incentive/president's club trips — end to end.
  • Strong budget and vendor management skills, with the ability to run a large, multi-event portfolio efficiently.
  • A track record of building and leading high-performing in-house teams, and of managing agencies and vendor partners to results.
  • Excellent executive communication — able to partner with Sales and executive leadership on high-visibility programs like SKO and Presidents Club.

Preferred

  • Experience in SMB-focused SaaS, subscription, or multi-brand portfolio businesses.
  • Familiarity with the home, field, or professional services verticals.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity with a strong bias to action; energized by a high-investment, high-expectations growth environment.
  • Experience with event management, registration, and reporting platforms, and connecting event data to CRM and pipeline reporting.
