Steno is growing — and so is our Lit Support team! We're looking for a Director of Partnerships, Litigation Support to serve as the vital connector between our Lit Support team, our clients, and our sellers. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity: first of its kind on the Lit Support team, setting the tone, building the playbook, and eventually growing a small team around you. If you thrive in fast-moving environments, love making clients feel like they're in the best possible hands, and have deep roots in California eFiling and litigation support — we built this role for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client opportunities and escalations from the Lit Support team — owning resolution from first contact through close.
  • Act as the bridge between clients, Lit Support team members, Account Executives, and Inside Sales, keeping everyone aligned and moving forward.
  • Build deep, trust-based client relationships through proactive, genuinely helpful communication.
  • Represent Steno’s full Lit Support offering — California eFiling, service of process, and beyond — with real subject-matter authority.
  • Lead and co-facilitate client demos, webinars, and training sessions for legal professionals at every level, from legal support staff to firm leadership.
  • Manage white-glove client onboarding from kickoff through active usage and ongoing support.
  • Proactively identify at-risk accounts and build action plans to drive retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to surface client feedback, flag trends, and champion improvements that move the NPS needle.
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and Steno’s proprietary software.
  • Help drive new and existing business — tracking targets and staying accountable to your KPIs.
  • Document a repeatable, scalable CSM playbook to support future team growth.

What We’re Looking For - You’ll crush it in this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the legal or litigation support industry, with a focus on customer success, account management, or client services.
  • Direct, hands-on expertise in California eFiling and service of process — not just familiarity, but the ability to speak with authority on jurisdictional rules, filing deadlines, rejection reasons, SOP logistics, and the nuances legal professionals actually care about.
  • Proven ability to command a room with law firm leadership — partners, managing partners, office administrators — and pivot seamlessly to field granular, technical questions from paralegals and legal support staff.
  • Experience leading webinars and product demos for legal professionals at all levels.
  • A background selling or supporting the sale of litigation support services — you understand the full client lifecycle from prospect to long-term account.
  • Availability to work Pacific Time (PT) business hours.
  • Proficiency with Slack, Zendesk, and HubSpot or comparable CRM/support tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your tone and style to any audience.
  • A natural connector who builds trust quickly and sustains it over time.
