We at Datacor help our customers make those products you use every day more safely, cost effectively and more efficiently through our technology platforms and applications.

About TrackAbout:

TrackAbout is Datacor's cloud-based asset tracking and cylinder management software that helps industrial gas, chemical, medical, and food & beverage companies gain real-time visibility into their returnable containers across the supply chain. It provides real-time visibility into asset location, status, and condition, helping reduce loss, improve accountability, and streamline operational workflows, with modular capabilities spanning delivery management, workflow automation, and plant/filling operations.

About the Role:

This quota-carrying, individual-contributor role manages the full sales lifecycle for a global book of enterprise opportunities — from prospecting and qualification through close and post-sale handoff. It's ideal for a hunter who can build pipeline from scratch, travel up to 40% internationally, navigate long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles, and close complex global deals. While the role may include sourcing and closing business through partners, its primary focus is direct new-logo and expansion sales.

Because many TrackAbout opportunities involve multinational customers with cross-border operations, this is a global territory. The ideal candidate is energized by working across regions, time zones, and cultures rather than within a single geography.

Prospecting & Pipeline Generation

  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities through self-sourced prospecting, outbound campaigns, referrals, and inbound leads.
  • Research and target accounts within gas, welding, and industrial supply (GWIS), liquid propane gas (LPG), and process manufacturing sectors, as well as other asset-intensive industries.
  • Develop and execute account-based territory plans covering named accounts across a global footprint.

Full-Cycle Sales Execution

  • Own each opportunity end-to-end: discovery, qualification, solution positioning, ROI/business case development, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Run structured discovery to uncover asset tracking, compliance, and operational efficiency challenges, and map TrackAbout's value to customer priorities.
  • Build and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations, in partnership with Solutions Engineering, tailored to enterprise buying committees.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving procurement, IT, operations, and executive sponsors, often across multiple countries and legal entities.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and legal considerations to close new business and expansion deals that are commercially sound for both TrackAbout and the customer.

Partner & Direct Channel Collaboration

  • Prioritize and lead direct sales motions as the primary path to revenue.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to co-sell or source deals through TrackAbout's partner and reseller network where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Global VP of Sales and regional partner leads to align on account coverage and avoid channel conflict.

Post-Sale & Account Growth

  • Ensure a clean, well-documented handoff to Implementation and Customer Success following contract signature.
  • Stay engaged post-sale to support a strong onboarding experience, identify expansion opportunities, and protect the long-term health of the account.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline and forecast data in Salesforce, and participate in regular pipeline and forecast reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive selling enterprise software, with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, from self-sourced prospecting through close and post-sale transition.
  • Experience selling into complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise organizations, including navigating procurement and legal processes.
  • Demonstrated success selling and negotiating across international markets and cross-border deals.
  • Strong discovery, business-case, and consultative selling skills; comfortable engaging both operational and executive-level buyers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the polish required for C-level engagement.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • 4-year college degree preferred (business, engineering, or a related field), or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling enterprise software into gas, welding, and industrial supply (GWIS), liquid propane gas (LPG), or process manufacturing, along with existing relationships or network within those industries.
  • Track record closing large six- to low-seven-figure enterprise deals with large, multinational enterprises.
  • Experience selling inventory tracking, asset management, or IoT/asset visibility software.
  • Experience working deals that involve or are supported by channel/reseller partners.

Why TrackAbout/ Datacor:

TrackAbout is part of Datacor, a multi-product enterprise software company serving industrial, chemical, and process manufacturing markets. Joining TrackAbout means selling a market-leading, purpose-built solution with strong customer outcomes, backed by the scale, resources, and go-to-market infrastructure of the broader Datacor organization.
