The Enterprise Account Manager, National Accounts is responsible for pursuing and closing all business opportunities within specific named account targets. The role penetrates and navigates at all organizational levels, with a focus on executive decision makers.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Account Management, Business Development, or Sales experience within the Commercial HVAC, Mechanical Services, Building Automation, or Facilities Services industry.
  • Proven success managing and growing National Accounts, Multi-Site Clients, or Enterprise Customers in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with executive leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Experience developing strategic account plans that drive revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiations, pricing strategies, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and business acumen.
  • Ability to travel as required to support customer meetings, industry events, and strategic account initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years successful B2B sales and account management experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical systems.
  • Experience selling into Retail, Restaurant, Industrial Manufacturing, Hospitality, Semiconductor, Advanced Manufacturing, Data Center, or Distribution verticals.
  • Experience managing Fortune 1000 or large multi-location enterprise accounts.
  • Track record of exceeding quotas and leading complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success securing and growing national service agreements, mechanical service programs, retrofit projects, energy solutions, or capital equipment opportunities.
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and service organizations within the HVAC ecosystem.
  • Track record of exceeding annual sales quotas and achieving sustained revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Experience leading complex pursuit strategies, RFP responses, contract negotiations, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of facility management, energy management, HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration, or mechanical infrastructure applications.
  • Experience leveraging CRM analytics, customer business reviews, and account planning tools to drive strategic growth initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic enterprise seller and relationship builder with deep commercial HVAC experience and a proven history of growing national account relationships across multiple locations and stakeholders.

Successful candidates will have experience selling into large, multi-site organizations within Retail, Restaurant, Industrial, Hospitality, Semiconductor, Advanced Manufacturing, or other enterprise verticals. They are strategic thinkers who can develop executive-level relationships, identify growth opportunities, navigate complex organizations, and align internal resources to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

They are equally comfortable in the boardroom with senior executives and in operational discussions with facilities, engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams, serving as a trusted advisor who creates long-term value for both the customer and Meriton.

Salary ranges listed are dependent upon a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the specific role and location.
