Exante360, Inc., is looking for an Enterprise Automation & AI Developer that wants to join us on our bold initiative of “improving lives through relationships, by connecting people to solutions.”

Role

Exante360 is expanding its internal software development capabilities to build AI-enabled tools, workflow automations, integrations, dashboards, data solutions, and enterprise applications that support the company's operations, project delivery, technology services, and internal business functions.

Exante360 is building an AI-forward organization. We are looking for professionals who embrace artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation as part of how they work. Ideal candidates are proactive in learning and applying new technologies, comfortable integrating AI tools into their workflow where appropriate, and capable of combining technology with sound business judgment to deliver exceptional results.

We are looking for a highly capable software developer who excels at AI-assisted development, QA automation, software testing, enterprise application development, and internal system deployment. This person will help design, build, and maintain software solutions that improve efficiency, automate workflows, enhance data visibility, and support decision-making across Exante360's business units.

The right candidate should be able to take internal software solutions from early concept through production deployment and ongoing support. They should understand how to leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong standards for security, reliability, documentation, testing, and maintainability.

This is a foundational role. The person hired will help establish development standards, quality assurance processes, deployment practices, documentation standards, and governance for Exante360's internal software environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Software Engineering Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain internal web applications, APIs, dashboards, workflow tools, integrations, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Translate business challenges from consulting, design, BIM/VDC, ICT, project delivery, operations, HR, finance, and corporate support teams into software requirements and working solutions.
  • Create secure, maintainable, and well-documented code that can be supported by a growing development team.
  • Establish and improve engineering workflows, including Git practices, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, testing environments, deployment procedures, and release documentation.
  • Evaluate software quality across usability, performance, security, reliability, data integrity, and operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to software architecture decisions, technology stack selection, documentation standards, and development best practices.

AI-Assisted Development Responsibilities

  • Use AI coding assistants and agentic development tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, refactoring, documentation, and prototyping.
  • Write effective prompts and technical specifications to improve development productivity and software quality.
  • Review AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Use AI to generate test cases, exploratory testing plans, documentation, and technical knowledge resources.
  • Build or integrate AI-powered capabilities where appropriate, including document processing, structured data extraction, intelligent search, summarization, workflow automation, and internal knowledge management.
  • Help define standards for responsible AI usage, including protection of company data, confidential information, intellectual property, and regulated data.

QA Automation and Software Testing Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks including unit, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing processes.
  • Identify, reproduce, document, prioritize, and resolve software defects through structured testing and troubleshooting.
  • Create detailed bug reports including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, business impact, severity, and recommended resolutions.
  • Develop release-readiness standards to ensure software is adequately tested before deployment.
  • Use AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage while independently validating all results and recommendations.

Internal Business Systems & Workflow Automation Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and process optimization.
  • Build software solutions that streamline operational workflows, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase visibility into business processes.
  • Develop integrations between business systems, databases, cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and operational applications.
  • Create dashboards, reporting tools, analytics platforms, and workflow management solutions that support organizational decision-making.
  • Assist in consolidating data from multiple systems into centralized and accessible solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate internal processes and recommend technology improvements that enhance organizational effectiveness.

Enterprise Deployment Responsibilities

  • Design and support deployment models appropriate for internal enterprise applications.
  • Build software with enterprise-grade capabilities including authentication, single sign-on (SSO), role-based permissions, audit logging, monitoring, data protection, user management, and administrative controls.
  • Support enterprise requirements related to security, data retention, backups, disaster recovery, compliance, and business continuity.
  • Create repeatable deployment procedures, implementation guides, configuration standards, onboarding documentation, release notes, and support processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of internally developed solutions.
  • Assist in establishing software support processes, bug escalation procedures, release management standards, and application governance practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software requirements, including security, permissions, uptime, documentation, maintainability, and supportability.
  • Demonstrated use of AI coding tools as part of a professional development workflow.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on operational efficiency and process improvement.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly for documenting requirements, architecture decisions, testing plans, bugs, and technical procedures.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
  • Strong full-stack development experience with modern web technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major backend language or framework such as Python, Node.js, TypeScript, C#, Java, or similar.
  • Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, or similar.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs, working with relational databases, and integrating multiple systems.
  • Strong QA automation experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Jest, PyTest, Postman/Newman, or similar.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting business-critical software applications in production environments.
  • Experience taking software from concept or prototype through production deployment.
  • Experience with construction technology, BIM, VDC, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, model coordination, or project delivery workflows.
