Description

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and execution-driven Events Manager to own the end-to-end planning and execution of Sensi.AI's growing events program.

From industry conferences to company-hosted customer events and executive gatherings, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences that strengthen customer relationships, elevate our brand, and support business growth.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role that combines operational excellence, strong project management, vendor negotiations, and customer-facing engagement. You'll work closely with our Sales, Growth, and Marketing teams to ensure every event is thoughtfully planned, flawlessly executed, and aligned with our commercial objectives.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just coordinate events but takes full ownership of outcomes, anticipates challenges, and knows how to turn complex logistics into seamless experiences.

What You'll Do

  • End-to-End Event Ownership: Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse portfolio of company-hosted and third-party events, managing every detail from initial planning and venue selection through on-site execution and post-event wrap-up.
  • Event Strategy & Business Impact: Partner closely with Sales, Growth, and Marketing to understand event objectives, align execution with business priorities, and create experiences that support pipeline generation, customer engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Own event budgets, track expenses, negotiate competitive pricing, and identify opportunities to maximize impact while maintaining financial discipline.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, production companies, caterers, AV providers, and other event partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and favorable commercial terms.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop detailed event plans, timelines, checklists, and contingency strategies. Proactively identify risks, solve problems in real time, and ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the central point of coordination across internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, and that all teams are fully prepared to deliver a successful event.
  • On-Site Leadership & Customer Engagement: Represent Sensi.AI professionally at events, confidently engage with customers, prospects, and industry partners, and take ownership of all on-site operations and last-minute challenges.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate event outcomes, collect stakeholder feedback, identify opportunities to improve processes, and help build scalable, repeatable event operations as the company grows.
Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in event management, corporate events, event operations, or a related customer-facing role, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end event execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events, competing priorities, complex logistics, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise.
  • Hands-on experience managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and coordinating multiple external partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with customers, prospects, executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive accountability without formal authority.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • A high level of ownership and accountability, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to deliver results.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, approximately once per month for several days, to support on-site event execution.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing B2B conferences, trade shows, industry events, or executive customer experiences.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or technology company.
  • Familiarity with events designed to support sales pipeline generation, customer acquisition, or relationship development.
  • Experience establishing event processes, playbooks, and operational best practices.

What Success Looks Like

  • Events are consistently delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Sales, Growth, and Marketing teams view you as a trusted, proactive partner who enables them to focus on customers and business opportunities.
  • Vendor relationships are effectively managed, with strong service quality and competitive commercial terms.
  • Events contribute meaningfully to customer engagement, brand presence, and pipeline development.
  • Event operations become increasingly efficient, scalable, and predictable as Sensi.AI continues to grow.
