The Product Manager for Document Management will enhance document handling efficiency in medical practices by automating workflows and bridging tech and clinical teams.
The summary above was generated by AI

About the Role
Medical practices spend a significant amount of uncompensated time managing inbound and outbound documents—reviewing faxes, filing records, routing tasks, and coordinating approvals. This work is essential, fragmented, and largely manual.

As the Product Manager overseeing the Document Management functions, you are responsible for improving how practices ingest, understand, route, and act on documents, reducing unnecessary human steps and cognitive load. Your work directly supports EverHealth’s goal of reducing uncompensated time around a visit, which we estimate is currently about eight minutes per visit.

This is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of the document management product area, spanning across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clinical users to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly document management systems that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, outcomes, and roadmap for document management.

  • Work closely with design and engineering to discover and deliver solutions that measurably reduce manual document handling; translating requirements into user stories and collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment.

  • Apply automation and AI to classify and summarize documents, file them to the correct patient record, and trigger downstream workflows such as tasking, routing, and provider sign-off.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable and extensible across products. Define clear success metrics and hold yourself accountable for results.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of product management experience.

  • Proven ability to own a complex, workflow-driven product area and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Strong product discovery skills and comfort operating in ambiguity.

  • Experience with healthcare workflows or EHRs preferred.

  • Track record of shipping practical solutions that teams and customers actually adopt.

  • Basic foundational knowledge of AI and LLMs preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • Practices spend less time managing documents.

  • Fewer manual steps are required per document.

  • Document workflows become reliable, automated, and trusted.

  • Document management becomes a source of leverage across the broader product portfolio.

Benefits & Perks

  • Flexibility to work where/how you want within your country of employment – in-office, remote, or hybrid

  • Robust health and wellness benefits, including an annual wellness stipend

  • Continued investment in your professional development through Udemy

  • 401k or RRSP with company match

  • Annual wellness stipend

  • Flexible and generous paid time off

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program
