We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure establishment of best practices within the costing team thereby contributing to develop the most effective production methods as per the customers’ standards, transferring relevant details from the development stages to the production process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze samples critically, prepare operations breakdowns, analyze motions, assign Standard Minute Values (SMV’s) for operations using GSD system and prepare machine layouts in order to facilitate accurate allocation of machines/manpower to obtain optimum output.
- Produce an accurate costing sheet to achieve the competitive price and give the various costing options to customer in order to reduce the price while adding newness to the product.
- Facilitate the pilot-run for new styles, prepare machine layouts, feeding plans & Standard Work Sheets (STW), whilst participating in change-over meetings and inform the teams accordingly.
- Analyze and monitoring all the product developments are done based on the best manufacturable method in order to improve the operational efficiencies.
Review the reports such as Daily efficiency report, Hourly production file and communicate with the management and relevant personnel for effective decision making.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Degree in Textile or Physical science.
GSD License Holder.
1-2 Years of Industrial Experience in the same capacity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
