About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

At Salesforce, we are flattening barriers and connecting companies with their customers in entirely new ways. But building groundbreaking cloud technology on a global scale means navigating a complex web of international laws. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a sharp, energetic Global Trade Compliance Analyst to join our elite Global Trade team. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Trade, you won't just be checking boxes—you will be a vital protector of our company’s mission, helping us safely navigate ITAR, EAR, and international regulations. If you love solving complex global puzzles and want to be part of a team that empowers a tech giant to grow responsibly, you’ve found your next home. You will work out of the Salesforce office three days a week.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing

  • Champion Defense Trade: Take the reins on daily ITAR program activities, supporting everything from DDTC registration and licensing to keeping our records pristine.

  • Be the Classification Guru: Track, maintain, and master our HTS codes, ECCNs, and Commodity Jurisdiction determinations so our tech moves seamlessly.

  • Protect the Ecosystem: Run essential due diligence by screening business partners, vendors, and customers against restricted party lists—acting as our first line of defense.

  • Fuel the Pipeline: Assist in drafting, submitting, and managing critical export licenses, exemptions, and authorizations.

  • Keep Us Ahead of the Curve: Dive into fascinating research on evolving global trade regulations and transform that data into engaging, modern training materials for the wider Salesforce team.

  • Collaborate and Support: Partner closely with our internal trade counsel and professionals, providing the administrative and analytical backbone that keeps our global team moving fast.

You’re Our Person If You Have...

  • The Track Record: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a global trade compliance professional, ideally with deep familiarity with tech or software environments.

  • The Regulatory Toolkit: You speak EAR, ITAR, FTR, and CBP fluently. You know how to interpret the rules and apply them to real-world business scenarios. (Bonus points if you also know your way around EU and UK trade regulations!).

  • System Savvy: You have experience navigating government portals like SNAP-R, DTRADE, and DECCS, and you’re comfortable using modern compliance screening tools.

  • Analytical Superpowers: You have an eye for detail, a high ethical radar, and the unique ability to translate dense, complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for stakeholders.

  • A Growth Mindset: You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You love collaborating with virtual, cross-functional teams to solve tricky problems and drive them to the finish line.
