Key Responsibilities

1. Manage Core HR Processes

  • Establish and manage onboarding and offboarding processes that provide consistency, clarity, and a strong cultural foundation.
  • Maintain accurate, organized employee records and compliance documentation.

2. Benefits Administration

  • Oversee open enrollment, benefits changes, and provider communication.

3. Talent Acquisition Support

  • Assist with sourcing, candidate screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Work with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and create a smooth, thoughtful candidate experience.
  • Support early employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent.

4. HR Compliance & Infrastructure

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations as we expand into new geographies.
  • Assist with updating the employee handbook and internal policies.
  • Help select, implement, and optimize HRIS or related systems as the company grows.

5. Culture & Employee Experience

  • Act as a trusted resource for employees, offering guidance, support, and clarity on HR-related matters.
  • Support culture-building programs—including team events, communication rhythms, and recognition initiatives.
  • Help leadership cultivate an environment that reflects our values of transparency, ownership, and collaboration.

6. Early-Stage HR Operations

  • Assist with payroll coordination, contractor management, documentation updates, and special projects.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and reduce administrative friction.
  • Support leadership with HR reporting, headcount planning, and people metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR experience, ideally in an early-stage startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and employment regulations.
  • Comfort working in environments with evolving processes and the need to build structure from scratch.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (or excitement to help implement them).
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus but not required.

Benefits

We offer a competitive early-stage benefits package, including:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Hospital Indemnity, Accident, and Critical Illness Coverage
  • Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays
  • Professional Development Opportunities
  • Exposure and access to senior leadership

Join Harmonious Capital Administration and play a foundational role in shaping the people, processes, and culture of our growing organization. This is a rare opportunity to build HR infrastructure from the ground up and make a meaningful impact on every member of our team.
