Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS) is a leading provider of project, asset management, commercial, and operational services to the power generation, exploration & production (E&P), and midstream sectors of the energy industry. Join our Human Resources team in Houston, TX, as an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience in employee engagement, benefits administration, and HR project management in a dynamic energy industry environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee inquiries via HR helpline calls and shared inbox emails.
  • Support HR programs, including summer intern initiatives, employee engagement activities, and new hire orientation.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including eligibility determination and implementation.
  • Analyze HR data using HRIS databases, generate reports, and create charts to summarize findings.
  • Contribute to HR projects in areas such as policy development, employee relations, and compensation.
  • Support integration activities for recent acquisitions.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive end-of-summer presentation to the CEO and leadership team, summarizing key projects, insights, and actionable recommendations based on internship work.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communication, Management, or related field (graduation: Dec 2026 or May 2027).
  • GPA: Minimum 3.0 (3.5+ preferred).
  • Skills: 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking, for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach to deliver accurate, timely results.
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new HR tools and processes.

This range represents the base salary and does not include other forms of compensation, such as bonuses, benefits, or equity, which may be offered in addition to the base pay.
