The opportunity

This is a new director role for a strategic commercial leader who can define and build a new capability at Seeq.

You will establish how Seeq engages, creates value for, and wins with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, data and AI leaders, digital transformation executives, and other technology decision makers within industrial enterprises.

The role starts as a highly autonomous strategic individual contributor position. You will create the strategy, operating model, executive narratives, commercial plays, and cross functional systems that make IT and enterprise go to market repeatable. As the capability proves out, you will help define its organization design and build and lead the team needed to scale it.

This role is designed for someone who has already operated at director level in scope, judgment, and influence, whether or not their current title includes the word Director.

What you will ownIT and enterprise buyer strategy

• Define Seeq’s annual and multi year strategy for engaging IT and enterprise technology buyers across priority industries and segments.

• Develop the buyer, buying center, architecture, risk, and business priority insights that shape enterprise technology decisions.

• Turn customer insight, win and loss findings, competitive intelligence, market research, and sales feedback into strategic recommendations and a clear point of view for Seeq.

Offer, commercialization, and narrative strategy

• Own the IT and enterprise perspective in Seeq’s offer strategy, connecting the platform, products, models, services, integrations, partners, and delivery capabilities into coherent offers.

• Shape value propositions, packaging inputs, commercial plays, pricing and return on investment narratives, launch requirements, and enterprise adoption strategies.

• Own the messaging framework for IT and enterprise buyers and translate complex technical capabilities into differentiated executive narratives, solution briefs, sales plays, and field ready content.

Cross functional leadership and execution

• Lead the cross functional work that turns IT and enterprise strategy into go to market plans, campaigns, launches, executive programs, account based motions, sales plays, and partner activities.

• Partner across Product, Marketing, Sales, Solutions Consulting, Services, Customer Success, Partners, and Operations to create decision clarity, operating rhythms, and accountable execution.

• Represent IT and enterprise buyer priorities in planning, portfolio discussions, launch reviews, strategic account work, and executive leadership meetings.

Customer, market, and capability building

• Build trusted relationships with technology stakeholders at customers, prospects, partners, and industry organizations, and use those relationships to strengthen Seeq’s market point of view.

• Define the measurement framework for enterprise go to market, including executive engagement, pipeline influence, stage conversion, deal quality, adoption, expansion, and offer attach.

• Build the business case, operating plan, capability roadmap, and source of truth required for future investment and team growth. As the capability scales, assume increasing responsibility for team design, budget planning, hiring, coaching, and functional leadership.

How the role will grow

Initially, you will establish the strategy, operating model, decision rights, measurement framework, and core assets for IT and enterprise go to market.

As business traction and approved investment support expansion, you will define the team model, hire and develop the team, own the operating cadence and quality standards, and empower others to execute at scale.

The opportunity to build the function is a core part of the role design. The timing and shape of team growth will be based on demonstrated impact, business needs, and approved investment.

• Seeq has a clear and adopted strategy for engaging IT and enterprise buyers across priority industries and segments.

• Buyer, messaging, offer, proof point, and commercialization frameworks improve field execution and enterprise sales outcomes.

• Seeq earns stronger executive access and improves pipeline influence, stage conversion, deal quality, adoption, expansion, and offer attach with enterprise buyers.

• The capability has a measurable operating model and a clear roadmap for investment, team design, and future leadership.


Requirements

• 10 or more years of increasing scope in enterprise go to market, product marketing, commercial strategy, solution marketing, audience marketing, or a related discipline.

• Experience setting strategy across a 12 month or longer horizon and translating it into measurable commercial outcomes.

• Experience developing strategies and messaging for CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, technology executives, or complex buying committees.

• A track record translating buyer insight into positioning, messaging frameworks, offers, campaigns, sales plays, and field execution.

• Experience selling to or marketing for IT organizations, ideally within manufacturing or another complex industrial enterprise.

• Relevant experience may include enterprise software, cloud, data, AI, analytics, enterprise applications, industrial technology, OT and IT ecosystems, or digital transformation.

• Experience building or commercializing packaged solutions that combine software, services, integrations, partners, or other components.

• Experience influencing product roadmap, packaging, pricing, partner strategy, services design, or portfolio decisions through market evidence and customer insight.

• Experience leading complex initiatives across Product, Marketing, Sales, Services, Customer Success, Partners, and Operations without relying on formal authority.

• Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, strategic accounts, executive engagement, account based motions, or field enablement in a complex business to business environment.

• Experience building a marketing, product, offer, commercial, or enterprise go to market strategy beyond messaging.

• Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate credibly with technology leaders, operational executives, sales teams, product teams, and internal leadership.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical and commercial ideas clear, concise, and compelling.

• Strategic judgment, strong prioritization, and comfort making recommendations with incomplete information.

• A collaborative leadership style that creates alignment, clarity, accountability, and momentum across functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. An advanced degree or relevant certification is preferred.

• Willingness and ability to travel periodically for customer meetings, team events, industry events, and company programs.
