About the team and the role:

The ITSS Collaboration Services Team empowers eBay employees to connect, communicate, and collaborate seamlessly across functions and geographies.

We build secure, intuitive environments using leading technologies including Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace that drive efficiency and support business goals

As a Collaboration Administrator, you will directly manage our enterprise collaboration platforms and bring insight into industry trends and new technologies, such as AI, to optimize experiences and achieve results. You will partner closely with other IT teams, company business units, and external vendors, to ensure alignment of collaboration solutions with business objectives.

What you will accomplish:

  • Enable secure, scalable, and reliable collaboration experiences for employees worldwide by administering and optimizing platforms such as Microsoft 365, Slack Enterprise Grid, Google Workspace, and Cisco Cloud Email Security.

  • Accelerate adoption of our adjacent collaboration technologies like Monday.com and Figma, including AI integrations and improvements, to boost efficiency and enhance team connectivity.

  • Strengthen our security posture across platforms by leading and implementing proactive security policies and driving incident responses for time sensitive escalation and remediation needs.

  • Grow operational maturity across the organization by mentoring, documenting, and sharing expertise with pier support teams.

  • Build alignment between collaboration platform strategy and eBay’s broader business objectives through collaboration across multiple functions and vendor partnerships.

  • Drive successful change and release management, translating technology updates into user-friendly solutions that ensure business continuity.

What you will bring:

  • Experience and expertise managing and supporting our core tools Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Slack.

  • Deep expertise administering large scale email environments in Exchange Online and Cisco Cloud Email Security platforms and previous implementations of DKIM, DMARC, and SPF.

  • Proven track record successfully building and supporting secondary tier collaboration SaaS suites such as Monday.com, Lucid Software, Figma, and Smartsheet.

  • Proficiency in supporting and implementing AI-powered agents, MCP servers, API access, and overseeing 3rd party app integrations across disparate platforms.

  • Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and a clear ability to communicate with diverse partners, including global teams and non-technical users.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$85,600 - $151,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
