About the team and the role:

The ITSS Collaboration Services Team empowers eBay employees to connect, communicate, and collaborate seamlessly across functions and geographies.

We build secure, intuitive environments using leading technologies including Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace that drive efficiency and support business goals.

As a Collaboration Administrator, you will compose and manage our enterprise collaboration platforms and bring insight into industry trends and new technologies, such as AI, to optimize experiences and achieve results. You will partner closely with IT, business units, and vendors, reporting to ITSS leadership.

What you will accomplish:

• Enable secure and reliable collaboration experiences for employees worldwide by administering and optimizing platforms like Microsoft 365, Slack Enterprise Grid, and Google Workspace

• Accelerate adoption of sophisticated technologies, including AI integrations and improvements, to boost efficiency and enhance team connectivity

• Strengthen system security and compliance by leading proactive incident response and implementing safeguards for sensitive information

• Grow operational maturity across the organization by designing training programs and sharing expertise with support teams

• Build alignment between collaboration platform strategy and eBay’s broader business objectives through collaboration across multiple functions and vendor partnerships

• Drive successful change and release management, translating technology updates into user-friendly solutions that ensure business continuity

What you will bring:

• Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace configurations, including platform integration and automation skills (PowerShell, Graph API)

• Deep expertise administering Slack Enterprise Grid and integrating collaboration technologies, ideally through 5+ years of hands-on experience

• Proven background securing enterprise applications, applying identity and access management principles with tools such as Active Directory, and Entra ID

• Proficiency in supporting and implementing AI-powered agents and enhancements using tools like PowerAutomate and Google Apps Script

• Strong problem-solving skills for sophisticated networking and firewall issues, coupled with knowledge of release management and compliance frameworks (CAB, MS Purview, MS Defender)

• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and a clear ability to communicate with diverse partners, including global teams and non-technical users

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
