We’re looking for an IT Operations Specialist to support day-to-day internal IT processes and help keep employees productive, equipped, and supported throughout their time at the company.
This role is primarily focused on IT Operations, with additional opportunities to support internal IT systems and automation depending on your experience and the team’s needs. You’ll work closely with HR, Security, Workplace, and other stakeholders to make sure requests are completed on time, issues are resolved efficiently, and IT operations remain organized, reliable, and audit-ready.
What you will do
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device preparation, equipment return, and coordination of required IT steps.
- Provide equipment, software, licenses, and day-to-day IT support to employees and contractors.
- Coordinate access requests and follow through on approvals and fulfillment to ensure timely access provisioning.
- Provide on-site support for employees and help with workplace IT needs such as meeting rooms, printers, and other shared office technology.
- Track hardware inventory and stock levels, help organize equipment logistics, and support procurement-related follow-up when needed.
- Work with internal stakeholders to keep IT requests, operational processes, documentation, and SLA-sensitive tasks running smoothly.
- Experience in IT Operations, IT support, workplace support, or a similar internal IT role.
- Hands-on experience supporting employees with day-to-day IT requests in macOS, Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding, equipment provisioning, software and license distribution, and access-related processes.
- Experience working with ticketing systems, request queues, and operational workflows with SLA-sensitive tasks.
- Attention to detail in process-driven work and keep requests moving to completion.
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Workspace or similar internal IT systems.
- Experience with MDM or endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, or similar.
- Experience helping with administration of internal IT systems, SaaS tools, or access management platforms.
- Python scripting skills or other automation experience.
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or product company.
- Experience supporting audit or compliance-related operational requirements in IT processes.
