Keep 14 people secure, patched, backed up, and productive—without unnecessary IT overhead.

We’re looking for a US-based independent IT administrator or small MSP to personally manage IT and security for a 14-person team using a mix of Mac and Windows devices and Google Workspace.

Our security onboarding and policy documentation are already in place. We need a hands-on partner who can take ownership of the technical execution and keep things secure without overcomplicating them.

Location: US Based - Fully Remote

Your Mission: Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage endpoint protection and device security across Mac and Windows.

  • Administer Google Workspace account security and access controls.

  • Keep operating systems and key software patched and up to date.

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts.

  • Manage device and data backup coverage.

  • Handle routine IT/security maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Complete an initial transition/setup project, then provide ongoing lean maintenance.

  • Document the environment and flag security or reliability issues before they become problems.

Your Toolbox: Skills to be Successful

  • Strong experience supporting small businesses of roughly 10–30 users.

  • Hands-on experience with both macOS and Windows.

  • Strong Google Workspace administration and security experience.

  • Endpoint protection, patch management, device security, and backup expertise.

  • Huntress experience strongly preferred, ideally with an existing Huntress partner account and the ability to provide licenses.

  • Able to personally perform the work rather than primarily subcontracting it.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and security practices.

  • References from similar small-business clients are highly valued.

  • US-based required.

Your Perks: What's in it for you

  • A straightforward 14-user environment with a defined scope.

  • Opportunity for an ongoing client relationship rather than a large, complex MSP engagement.

  • One-time transition/setup project + recurring maintenance package.

  • Target recurring budget: $500–$800/month, including software/licenses.

  • We value practical security, responsiveness, and a partner who can work independently.
