Front-line support
- Own the IT ticket queue in Jira — triage, resolve, escalate, and close the loop.
- Support employees across multiple time zones; communicate clearly in Slack and async tickets.
- Document fixes, runbooks, and how-tos in Confluence so the next person doesn’t have to ask.
- Provision and maintain devices via Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Intune, and NinjaOne.
- Manage compliance policies, app deployment, OS patching, and device health.
- Maintain the full endpoint lifecycle — imaging, reassignment, retirement, and certified data wipe.
- Manage the user lifecycle in Entra ID and Microsoft 365: onboarding, offboarding, groups, licenses.
- Help maintain our Conditional Access posture & troubleshoot blocked sign-ins.
- Own end-to-end new-hire setup: hardware staged or shipped, first-day login walkthrough, MFA enrollment, app access.
- Run clean offboarding: account disable, data preservation, license reclaim, hardware return and wipe.
- Keep the Austin HQ working: Wi-Fi, printers, displays, conference rooms, and Teams meeting-room A/V.
- Identify repetitive work and automate it — PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, or shell scripting.
- Build small workflows that reduce ticket volume (auto-provisioning, license cleanup, asset reporting).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional IT support, service desk, or junior sysadmin experience in a business environment.
- Hands-on administration of both macOS and Windows endpoints.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Experience with at least one MDM or RMM platform (Intune, NinjaOne, Jamf, etc.).
- Comfortable with ITSM/ticketing tools (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.).
- Strong written communication — you’ll regularly support people you’ve never met in person,
- Reliable and organized; updates tickets and documentation without being asked.
- Authorized to work in the US and able to be on-site in Austin the majority of the work week
- Direct experience with our stack: Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).
- Scripting/automation experience: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, Bash/zsh, or similar.
- Familiarity with Entra ID Conditional Access, MFA/SSPR, and core identity security concepts.
