Job Description:

  • Pay Type: Hourly
  • Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience strongly preferred.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

Summary
The Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for maintaining and balancing the inbound/ outbound process of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to insure daily production needs are met, providing timely communications to other departments and leadership personnel, and supporting all other warehouse operation functions and personnel as assigned.
Essential Functions

  • Responsible for ensuring any and all necessary forms used for the day-to-day operations are filled out completely and accurately

  • Create/maintain daily dock schedules. Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.

  • Interacts with customer and contractors - answering questions regarding shipment times, product cuts, loads not picked up by the carrier.

  • Ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder

  • Performs basic administrative tasks

  • The Logistic Clerk may be required to support the client after hours, such as nights, weekends and/or holidays via cell phone rotation and remote equipment

  • Processes Small Package in Warehouse Management System

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrates customer service skills

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required

  • One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience required

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
