The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely flow and warehousing of goods across Screen Innovations’ manufacturing operations, which produce multiple audio-visual (AV) product lines including projectors, screens, and window shades. This role actively implements and controls the overall distribution concept and strategy, ensuring that production lines are supplied, orders are fulfilled accurately, and customer expectations are consistently met.

You will work cross-functionally with plant warehouse, packaging, and procurement teams to coordinate material movement, reduce costs, and improve response times — all while maintaining high standards for accuracy, compliance, and customer service. This is a hands-on role that combines logistics coordination with active support of day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
Order & Distribution Management
  • Monitor and control the order process: Ensure the efficient and adequate flow of goods from receipt through fulfillment.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental activities: Align warehouse, packaging, and procurement operations to drive efficient material movement, reduce costs, and lower inventory investment.
  • Support production scheduling: Review and participate in scheduling of production operations to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
Warehouse & Material Handling Support
  • Devan inbound containers: Safely and efficiently unload (devan) incoming shipping containers, inspecting and staging goods for receipt and put-away.
  • Support order processing: Assist warehouse associates with weighing and measuring orders to ensure accurate documentation, shipping, and fulfillment.
  • Perform additional warehouse functions: Provide hands-on support for other warehouse tasks as required to maintain workflow and meet production and shipping demands.
Process & Cost Improvement
  • Develop and maintain processes: Design, implement, and sustain procedures that reduce operational costs and improve customer service outcomes.
  • Review and optimize department procedures: Analyze existing processes, policies, and workflows; identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Drive accuracy and response time: Continuously work to improve order accuracy and reduce fulfillment lead times across all product lines.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
  • Coordinate with carriers and brokers: Handle requests from carriers, brokers, and internal teams via email and phone as required, ensuring timely, accurate communication and the smooth movement of goods.
  • Coordinate with procurement and packaging: Provide necessary product quantities and ensure correct orders and materials are available for daily production.
  • Ensure on-time delivery: Manage scheduling of packaging and processing materials to support production demands and customer commitments.
Reporting & General Duties
  • Maintain documentation: Keep accurate records of logistics activity, shipping, and order fulfillment for reporting to management.
  • Additional responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of related logistics, supply chain, or operations experience, including direct experience working with carriers and brokers and using warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness and ability to perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including container devanning and assisting with weighing and measuring orders, as needed.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards in work quality and output.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Versatility and flexibility — ability to work within constantly changing priorities with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple departments and functions simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing and warehouse environment throughout the full shift, including standing and being on your feet for extended periods consistent with warehouse and manufacturing industry standards.
  • Ability to move throughout the warehouse and production floor as required by daily coordination activities.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials as needed within the warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of container devanning, such as repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, and moving goods.

  • Location: 100% on-site at our Austin, TX manufacturing facility (9715 Burnet Road, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78758). This role cannot be performed remotely. No exceptions.
  • Current Schedule: Full-time, standard daytime weekday hours. Specific start and end times confirmed at time of offer.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Hours may adjust based on production and business needs but will remain within standard daytime plant operating hours, Monday through Friday. This role does not require evening, overnight, or weekend shifts.
