About Base

Base is America’s next-generation power company. We’re rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization–electricity–by deploying a vast network of distributed batteries that is transforming today’s fragile, centralized grid into a resilient and abundant system. We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time.

About the Role

Base Power Company is looking for a Deployment Operations Specialist to manage order fulfillment and oversee last-mile delivery across all geographies. This role ensures the efficient movement of goods, manages exceptions, and provides clear visibility to the team on delivery status and performance. You will work closely with Base’s internal logistics and field teams, while partnering with and enabling third-party logistics providers to operate effectively within Base’s processes. In addition to day-to-day execution, this role will play a key part in improving, automating, and scaling fulfillment and delivery operations to support Base Power’s growth.

What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end order fulfillment, ensuring accurate sales order processing and on-time delivery to customers.

  • Manage day-to-day delivery operations, including scheduling and coordinating last-mile logistics with both internal teams and external partners.

  • Own and improve fulfillment workflows, with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational reliability.

  • Build and maintain operational dashboards tracking order status, delivery performance, inventory movement, and exceptions.

  • Lead integration and coordination with 3PLs, ensuring partners operate seamlessly within Base’s processes and standards.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues, driving continuous improvement across fulfillment, inventory, and delivery.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, and Field Operations to ensure smooth execution.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations.

  • Proven ability to own complex operational coordination, balancing competing priorities and resolving issues in real time to keep execution moving.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities.

  • Comfort working with ERP systems, inventory tools, and operational data.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills — especially when working with external partners.

  • A mindset focused on process improvement and automation, not just execution

  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis for supply chain and logistics performance (e.g., SQL or similar).
Understanding of logistics workflows, inventory movement, and traceability best practices.

  • Experience building or maintaining operational dashboards to track performance and exceptions.

  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).

  • Comfort working in fast-growing or operationally complex environments where processes are still being built.

Our Values
  • First Principles Thinking: Question assumptions. Principles > rules.

  • Operate at Base Pace: Focus on what matters, act quickly, and learn by doing.

  • Give & Get Feedback: Be direct, be humble, and maintain a growth mindset.

  • Everyone’s an Owner: Follow through on commitments and own results.

  • Strong Opinions, Loosely Held: Drive clarity and make calls with imperfect information.

  • Committed to the Mission: Rebuilding the grid is a big challenge. We work hard because we care deeply about the impact we’re creating. We work in-person. It’s not a 9-to-5. We are all-in.

  • Fun & Optimism Coexist with Grit: Collaboration and celebration coincide with the intensity of building real things.

Do the best work of your life at Base.
