Role Overview
The Manager of Learning & Organizational Change Management Consulting Services is a people and delivery leader responsible for supervising consultants, overseeing client workstreams, supporting delivery quality, and strengthening the employee experience within the Learning & OCM practice.

As the first formal layer of consultant leadership beneath the Director, the Manager provides consistent oversight for approximately 6–10 consultants. Key responsibilities include coaching, performance feedback, development planning, employee engagement, utilization management, and day-to-day consultant support.

The Manager also maintains an active role in client delivery, ensuring Learning, Training, OCM, Adoption, Readiness, Communications, and related workstreams are executed with quality, consistency, and accountability.

This role strengthens leadership capacity across the practice by improving consultant support, increasing accountability, promoting delivery consistency, and creating a scalable management structure that supports continued growth.


Core Responsibilities 

1. People Leadership & Consultant Development

  • Supervise a team of approximately 6–10 Learning & OCM consultants.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings focused on delivery, performance, engagement, and career development.
  • Provide timely coaching, feedback, and individualized development plans.
  • Support goal setting, performance reviews, promotion readiness, and performance documentation.
  • Identify emerging leaders and create development opportunities in partnership with the Director.
  • Promote retention through proactive engagement, clear expectations, and career support.
  • Escalate performance concerns or employee experience risks to the Director.

2. Engagement Delivery Oversight

  • Lead or oversee Learning, Training, OCM, Adoption, Readiness, and Communications workstreams.
  • Ensure consultants understand deliverables, timelines, quality standards, and client priorities.
  • Monitor progress and identify delivery risks, barriers, or support needs.
  • Review deliverables for quality, completeness, consistency, and alignment with Ellit Groups standards.
  • Facilitate client workshops, leadership meetings, training sessions, and readiness discussions.
  • Support engagement teams with scope, priorities, stakeholder needs, and delivery risks.
  • Escalate significant delivery, staffing, scope, or client satisfaction concerns.

3. Consultant Utilization & Staffing

  • Monitor consultant utilization, availability, workload, and assignment fit.
  • Support staffing recommendations, capacity planning, and deployment decisions.
  • Balance consultant development with client delivery and billability expectations.
  • Provide input on consultant strengths, development needs, role fit, and assignment readiness.
  • Identify underutilization, overextension, burnout risks, or skill misalignment.
  • Support consultant onboarding and role readiness for new engagements.

4. Performance Management & Accountability

  • Set clear expectations for professionalism, communication, responsiveness, quality, and client delivery.
  • Provide consistent feedback on strengths and improvement opportunities.
  • Address performance concerns early and partner with the Director and HR when needed.
  • Reinforce accountability for deliverables, utilization, client satisfaction, and collaboration.
  • Support performance calibration, promotion readiness, compensation input, and development planning.

5. Delivery Quality & Client Satisfaction

  • Review client-facing assessments, plans, dashboards, communications, and executive updates.
  • Ensure teams use approved methodologies, templates, tools, and delivery standards.
  • Monitor client feedback and help resolve performance or delivery concerns.
  • Promote consistent practices and lessons learned across Learning & OCM engagements.
  • Support proactive risk identification and quality assurance.
  • Coach consultants on executive presence, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management.

6. Client Relationships & Growth

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and engagement leaders.
  • Identify client needs, delivery gaps, and expansion opportunities.
  • Contribute to proposals, staffing models, solution design, RFP responses, and scope development.
  • Support account growth through strong delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Represent Ellit Groups professionally across client and internal interactions.

7. Hiring, Onboarding & Practice Support

  • Participate in interviews, candidate evaluations, and hiring recommendations.
  • Support new consultant onboarding and assimilation.
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, tools, and delivery standards.
  • Share engagement lessons learned and best practices.
  • Support practice meetings, talent discussions, knowledge sharing, and capability development.
  • Partner with the Director to strengthen consultant oversight and engagement delivery.


Requirements

Required Qualifications 

  • 5–8 years of healthcare consulting, organizational change management, learning and development, training, workforce transformation, or related healthcare transformation experience. 
  • Experience leading significant workstreams or client-facing delivery efforts. 
  • Experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, or formally managing team members. 
  • Strong knowledge of organizational change management, adult learning, training strategy, readiness, communications, stakeholder engagement, and adoption principles. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, consultants, workstreams, and client expectations simultaneously. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client facilitation and executive-facing communication. 
  • Ability to review deliverables for quality, clarity, consistency, and alignment with project goals. 
  • Ability to balance billable client delivery with people-management responsibilities. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, organizational development, education, learning, change management, or related field. 
  • Prosci certification. 
  • PMP, CPTD, SHRM-SCP, CCMP, or related certification. 
  • Experience with Epic, Oracle Health, Workday, ERP, AI-enabled transformation, or large-scale healthcare technology implementation. 
  • Experience managing consultants in a professional services or client delivery environment. 
  • Familiarity with utilization targets, staffing models, consulting delivery expectations, and performance management processes. 


Benefits

What We Offer 

  • Base Salary: $145,000–$159,000 annually. 
  • Performance Bonus: Target 10% of base salary. 
  • Bonus alignment based on company performance, individual goal achievement, people-management effectiveness, business development contribution, consultant engagement, utilization support, and client satisfaction. 
  • 1% new client referral bonus for qualified referrals resulting in signed contracts.
