All About the Role
This role will focus on business development with existing clients and will hunt for new business - managing and converting a pipeline of opportunities into revenue streams across all verticals - such as Financial Institutions, Fintechs, Acquirers, Retailers, Consumer Goods, Public Sector and others - leveraging Mastercard's suite of capabilities, with key focus on Security Solutions e.g., enterprise-wide and cyber risk, fraud, identity validation, etc.
Key responsibilities include:
• Work alongside the local Cyber and Security Sales lead to unlock new market segments and identify new sales opportunities • Drive Lead Generation activities, specifically around Cyber and Security in Greece, Cyprus and Malta• Build and maintain close relationships with new and existing customers• Identify the most critical aspects of a client or market challenges and create clear problem statements to address • Leverage deep knowledge of all the Mastercard Security Solutions capabilities and how they fit together to create customized and relevant solutions for clients solving for their needs• Quickly build up topic expertise and market knowledge in the areas of Security solutions and Cybersecurity • Work closely with the other Services teams to identify opportunities to cross-sell and synergize with other Mastercard solutions, such as Consulting, Data Analytics or Platform solutions• Write well-structured, persuasive and client ready proposals with limited guidance • Develop effective working relationships with mid to senior level client management• Work closely with Division Lead, Country Manager and local leadership to drive the Mastercard Services agenda in the market• Align efforts for sales success, including managing external and internal obstacles, as well as ensuring leadership alignment and building support• Play key role in capturing of knowledge and development of intellectual capital • Actively participate in recruiting, training and developing others
All About You:
• Top rated undergraduate degree required, graduate degree desired• Professional services experience from a top-rated firm, payments/ financial services expertise considered a plus and/or experience helping financial institutions at the executive leadership level• Experience in Sales & Business Development specifically in Cyber, Security or Technology/SaaS • Working knowledge of the market, including competitors, substitutes, and complementary offerings, as well as demonstrated interest in current trends related to security, cyber threats, fraud, and identity protection• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English, ability to communicate on executive level • Excellent analytical skills• Ability to work on a team, as well as driving processes independently• Strong internal/external stakeholder management skills• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills• Growth mindset and genuine interest in new technologies • High Attention to detail
Languages: Greek (native) and strong English skills required. Additional languages skills a plus
