Our Performance Analytics team blends traditional management consulting with Mastercard's proprietary data assets and technologies to deliver actionable insights and measurable impact. As a Performance & Analytics Manager, you will lead high-impact analytics engagements, build and nurture high-performing teams, and foster a strong sense of community and collaboration. You will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in analytics and team development, capable of translating complex data into business value while cultivating a culture of excellence.
Role and Responsibilities
Client Impact• Lead strategic analytics initiatives across Business Intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics.• Design and oversee methodologies tailored to client problem statements, ensuring alignment with business priorities.• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving measurable outcomes.• Manage client expectations, risks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Mastercard's strategic objectives.
Team Leadership & Culture• Build and lead high-performing analytics teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.• Mentor and coach consultants across levels, supporting career development and performance growth.• Create and sustain a strong team identity and community, promoting shared values and purpose.• Ensure governance of project resources and repositories, maintaining documentation and accessibility.• Drive cross-functional collaboration and internal workstreams to exceed client expectations.
Basic Qualifications • Graduate degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with strong data and analytics expertise.• Minimum 7+ years of experience in analytics roles, including team leadership and stakeholder management.• Demonstrate a track record of team development, including recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and mentoring talent.• Strong technical foundation (SQL and Python required) and ability to lead complex analytical projects. • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages highly valued. • Eligibility to work in the country of application and ability to travel as required. • Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience building and scaling analytics teams and communities.• Expertise in AI/ML model design and evaluation.• Experience with big data workflows (Hive SQL, Hadoop, PySpark) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
