Job Description Summary

The Marketing Communications Manager, Contrast Media Portfolio, is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing communications strategies that drive awareness, adoption, customer engagement, and commercial growth across the Contrast Media portfolio.

This role partners closely with Product Marketing (i.e. Brand Managers), Clinical Marketing, Sales, Digital Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and external agencies to deliver compelling, customer-focused communications that support business objectives throughout the customer journey. The Marketing Communications Manager serves as the strategic lead for content development, campaign execution, omnichannel communications, sales enablement, event promotion, and marketing operations while ensuring all materials meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative with strong project management skills, a passion for storytelling, and experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing communications & strategy: Develop and lead integrated marketing communications strategies that align business objectives, drive portfolio growth, and strengthen customer engagement across the Contrast Media portfolio.
  • Content strategy & creation: Create compelling, customer-focused content and messaging that effectively communicates portfolio value across audiences, channels, and stages of the buyer journey.
  • Campaign management: Plan, execute, and optimize omnichannel marketing campaigns that increase awareness, generate demand, and support commercial objectives. Coordinate with Director of Marketing Communications and Brand to manage the content calendar and tactic flowchart documents.
  • Brand standards & content review: Ensure all marketing communications and materials align with GE HealthCare brand guidelines, applying strong attention to detail to write, edit, review, and proof content for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Sales enablement & commercial support: Develop strategic marketing tools, resources, and communications that enhance sales effectiveness and support customer decision-making.
  • Events, webinars & customer engagement: Lead the promotion and execution of customer engagement programs, including events, webinars, and educational initiatives that strengthen customer relationships and market presence.
  • APR ownership and management: Ensure all marketing communications comply with regulatory, legal, and medical company requirements through effective management of approval processes and promotional review workflows. This role will also manage updating and maintaining the claims matrix document.
  • Cross functional leadership: Partner across Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, Digital, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Legal, and external teams to align priorities, drive execution, and deliver impactful business outcomes.
  • Measurement & optimization: Leverage performance data and customer insights to evaluate effectiveness, guide decision-making, and continuously improve marketing outcomes.
  • Agency & vendor management: Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective delivery of marketing communications programs and initiatives.
  • Budget management: Ensure projects stay on scope and do not go over the estimated total expenditure.
  • Budget and purchases: Support the team in managing the marketing budget, processing invoices and purchase orders, and submitting compliance approvals (i.e. AST system).

Key Capabilities:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, budget and oversee multiple marketing projects and events.
  • Ability to create comprehensive and holistic communication strategy in support of marketing strategy and in line with programs and tactics to drive growth.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills to write, create and review copy to ensure high-quality level of work, including making APR edits and confirming edits have been made correctly to avoid multiple rounds of approvals and FDA 2253 submissions.
  • Experience in coordinating with regulatory, legal and compliance teams to navigate the review and approval process for marketing content.
  • Experience planning and managing marketing events, including trade shows, conferences and digital events (i.e. webinars, speaker programs, etc.)
  • Ability to coordinate logistics, vendor relations and on-site support to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the customer experience.
  • Familiarity with marketing software and tools, such as CRM, sales enablement and marketing automation platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, advertising, or event management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and the approval process for marketing materials.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of managing marketing projects, advertising campaigns, and events.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $108,000.00-$162,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
