Senior NetSuite Administrator

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in PA, NY, or the broader Tri-State / Northeast region)

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Client & Engagement

Our consulting team is working for a premier national media, audio content, and digital entertainment enterprise to lead their major financial technology transformation. Reaching over 200 million consumers monthly across digital platforms, podcasts, and broadcasting, our client is modernizing their core financial infrastructure.

As we are also the recruiting partner, we are also seeking a Senior NetSuite Administrator who will be hired as the client's fulltime Senior NetSuite Administrator to work closely with our team during the NetSuite implementation, ultimately stepping in as the client's internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), Functional Architect, and long-term platform owner.

Position Overview

In this high-visibility role, you will collaborate directly with our implementation consultants to lead functional execution, post-walkthrough testing, and custom system builds ahead of go-live. You will build native solutions within NetSuite, align business processes, and assist with rationalizing integrations between NetSuite and key enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, OMS).

While media or advertising industry experience is a plus, the core requirement is deep, hands-on NetSuite configuration expertise paired with a solid foundation in US GAAP and corporate financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Integration Execution

  • Partner closely with our external implementation team to ensure seamless data migration and platform transition from legacy Microsoft Dynamics systems.

  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), walkthrough validations, and technical readiness initiatives leading up to system go-live.

  • Collaborate on enterprise system integrations, connecting NetSuite with upstream/downstream platforms including Salesforce, Order Management Systems (OMS), and custom digital media platforms.

NetSuite Administration & Architecture

  • Serve as the incoming internal SME and primary platform administrator, owning system configuration and functional architecture post-go-live.

  • Design, configure, test, and deploy native and customized NetSuite solutions (Chart of Accounts, segment structures, custom workflows, approval routing, financial reports, saved searches, roles/permissions, and SuiteApps).

  • Manage day-to-day platform maintenance, data integrity, user support, and post-go-live optimizations.

  • Translate complex financial requirements into actionable system designs, wireframes, and workflows.

Finance Leadership Partnership

  • Partner directly with internal client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers) to evaluate processes, challenge assumptions, and implement configured solutions.

  • Ensure all NetSuite builds comply with US GAAP, record-to-report cycles, multi-entity/multi-currency reporting, and internal control standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of dedicated, hands-on NetSuite administration and functional configuration experience within a corporate finance/accounting environment.

  • Deep proficiency across NetSuite core financial modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, multi-subsidiary/multi-currency, intercompany, and period-close.

  • Direct involvement in at least one full-cycle NetSuite implementation (discovery to go-live), preferably migrating off legacy ERPs like Microsoft Dynamics in a mid-to-enterprise setting.

  • Proven track record of working effectively alongside third-party implementation partners and consultants during an ERP transition.

  • Strong baseline knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and how financial statements map to system architecture.

  • Practical experience managing NetSuite integrations (Salesforce, OMS, billing platforms) and building UAT test scripts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry background in broadcast media, digital media, advertising, publishing, or subscription-based services.

  • NetSuite Certified Administrator or NetSuite ERP Consultant credentials.

  • Tri-State / Northeast geographic location (PA, NY, NJ area).

What the Role Offers

  • High Impact: Serve as the internal owner of a flagship $2M+ enterprise ERP rollout, building side-by-side with an expert implementation team.

  • Workplace Flexibility: Fully remote position with a strong organizational footprint in key Northeast hubs.

  • Competitive Package: Generous base salary, full benefits package, and long-term ownership of an enterprise NetSuite footprint.

  • 100% remote opportunity when not traveling for client requirements with full access to the team through technology
