Job Summary

The Microsoft Project and Training Coordinator - Public Sector supports the Microsoft-aligned sales organization through project management tool optimization (approximately 40%), coordination and tracking of training initiatives (approximately 40%), and support of additional projects as needed (approximately 20%). This role owns Trello tool maintenance and leads onboarding and ongoing training on Microsoft programs and product licensing across the organization.
The position serves as a central resource for tool governance, process optimization, and enablement for Microsoft Account Executives (MAE), Microsoft Customer Success Specialists (CSS), Microsoft Licensing Executives (MSLE), Microsoft Inside Account Managers (MIAM), and related leaders and stakeholders.

Role Description

Project Enablement

  • Maintain approximately 40 Trello boards across five districts

  • Assist with maintaining accurate enrollment, workflow, and checklist data

  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely communication to stakeholders

  • Identify process gaps and partner with stakeholders to implement process improvements

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Trello and workflow tools, including troubleshooting and issue resolution

  • Provide workflow insights and recommendations to leadership

  • Respond to inquiries related to workflows, records, and processes

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure workflow alignment and task execution

Training & Team Enablement

  • Serve as the primary training coordinator for Microsoft-aligned teams, supporting topics such as Microsoft licensing, tools, workflows, and operational best practices

  • Maintain a master Trello training board containing presentations, guides, and recorded training modules

  • Create onboarding training boards from the master template for new Microsoft‑aligned roles and their designated mentors

  • Facilitate ongoing refresher training related to licensing updates, workflow changes, and program evolution

  • Partner with leadership to identify training needs and close skill gaps

  • Track training participation and completion to ensure measurable outcomes

  • Maintain current expertise in Microsoft licensing programs and contract requirements

  • Support train‑the‑trainer initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Other Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher, 5 years of relevant industry experience

  • 1+ year of experience supporting Microsoft licensing, renewals, or maintenance programs preferred

  • 1+ year of experience delivering training, with training on Microsoft programs, products, or licensing preferred

  • Travel may be expected up to 30% based on business needs

Preferred
  • Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), or Microsoft certification

    Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms

    Sales or technical enablement experience

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Experience managing Microsoft agreements or working as a Licensing Solution Provider (LSP)

  • Comfort operating in team‑selling environments and across organizational levels

  • Interest in technology and business operations

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $60,000- $80,000 which includes a base salary plus bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
