Introduction

The Operations Planner will be responsible for executing on US Logistics tasks related to escalations, inventory management for key KPI's and customer intimacy. They will provide a high level of customer satisfaction in delivering the best customer service each time, through accountability, dedication and responsiveness.

Role and Responsibilities

Escalations/Process Control:

  • Respond to and process incoming emergency parts orders.

  • Enter and execute administrative controls in the SAP system.

  • Communicate directly with internal customers to ensure that their needs are understood, communicated and fulfilled.

  • Follow up and Monitor daily escalations through technical support.

Planning and Field Support:

  • Main contact for the local CS Service organization and colleagues providing the supply chain expertise to drive the best decisions.

  • Drive the replenishment and allocation of parts.

  • Analyze and review usage of local service and sales parts based on historical data and/or projected requirements and develop proposed stocking plans.

  • Optimize spare part and tool planning mechanism in the US, completing analysis for the relevant machines and develop proposals to increase optimization.

  • Monitor critical parts and influence stocking levels ensuring effective coverage.

Performance Management:

  • Ensure customer lead time and fill rate targets are met; NAV’s are analyzed for root causes and corrective actions.

  • Present relevant performance reporting to stakeholders.

  • Initiate alignment with local CS and Account Team on total demand plan (Service, FCO’s, Install, UF) and matching supply plan on different planning horizons (short-medium-long); includes specifics on NPI’s, such as definition and release status.

  • Improve cooperation between local and central logistics covering volume and NPI’s.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in strategic initiatives optimizing supply chain performance, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent; or equivalent years of working experience.

  • 3-5 years of relevant field experience in a complex customer oriented (logistics) environment.

  • Experience in building a good relationship with customers in supporting their needs.

  • Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry.

  • Experience in defining and implementing of new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs.

  • Proven record with (continuous) improvement-projects.

  • Know how about Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).

  • Advanced competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of ASML logistics procedures is preferred.

Other Information

Role within Office Responsibilities:

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • May require travel dependent on business needs. Travel possible (Domestic/International).

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
