Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Cloud Financials Principal Consultant, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud Finance solutionsYou'll leverage your expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Oracle Cloud Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day

  • Provide techno-functional expertise across Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS), including integrations with internal and external applications;

  • Identify gaps, recommend solution options, and ensure deliverables align with business objectives, application service levels, IT strategies, and design intent;

  • Work with the client's Finance and Accounting functions to capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality. Identify gaps and advise clients on options, risks, and value propositions;

  • Ensure the accuracy of requirements traceability, solution design, configuration, and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle;

  • Configure Oracle Cloud ERP solutions and ensure implementations align with approved designs and Oracle implementation best practices;

  • Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with business users from multiple geographical regions and functional areas;

  • Integrate requirements from multiple design sessions and teams into the Cloud ERP system design;

  • Develop and execute test cases, support testing activities, and assist with the resolution of test failures and anomalies;

  • Align departmental policies and procedures with Cloud ERP system processes, policies, and procedures in the solution implementation;

  • Support I.T. Solutions project execution methodology, report on project progress, and aggressively identify and manage issues to closure.

Qualifications

Keys to your success

  • Bachelor's degree or higher;

  • 8-10+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials implementations;

  • Experience in participating in at least 5 Oracle ERP Cloud implementations as a Functional Consultant;

  • Experience in facilitating Business Process Workshops, Proof of Concept sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integrated Testing, and UAT test case development and oversight;

  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, and implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Lease Accounting, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects Portfolio Management, and Accounting Hub;

  • Experience working with ERP to mature financial processes and reporting, including supporting testing and user adoption of newly defined procedures;

  • Experience working in a flexible, innovative, and fast paced work environment;

  • Expert knowledge in financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing and support;

  • Thorough understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes as well as deep functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS);

  • Superior written, spoken and presentation communication skills, with ability to communicate and interact with senior and executive level management and influence outcomes.

Extra edge

  • Previous experience in the Healthcare/Hospital, Insurance, Construction & Engineering, Utilities, or Financial Services industry.
